The amount of people expecting handouts is really quite sad. It's not hard to beat the single player part of the game by yourself, but there are just so many people spamming global and trade asking for free pokemon and then more advanced trainers emptying out their boxes to the new players. I suggest something like only allowing people to trade after they have 20 (or any other number) pokemon in their Pokedex or after they have 2 or 3 badges like I think Gold and Silver did. If I could beat Pokemon Blue as a 9 year old without google, I'm sure anyone capable of using a computer can at least get some badges and work stuff out by themself.

If you play any gen4/5 game you can get it easily from GTS or whatever. I got my own in fire red and if you know anyone else who plays you're bound to get it off them. This MMO is like playing in a room with 1000 other people. If I did that irl and someone found a pokemon with pokerus I'm sure they'd share it around with their mates, so I don't see why it should change here just cause there's more people active around eachother.

That makes no sense whatsoever. I'm going to be EV training my pokemon anyway, this just makes it faster for everyone. Casuals won't beat people who know how to play regardless of their Pokemon. I don't see your point. Do you even know what Pokerus is?

EV training is the "grinding" process that nobody really finds that fun. Having pokerus easily available just makes this process faster. So I'm all for pokerus the same as ingame. So people spend less time sitting in diglett cave and more time roaming around and battling eachother.

From my experience, until sweet scent works outside of battle, it's much better to fight caterpies for HP EVs. Just the chance of encountering a Pokemon in the viridian pond is ridiculously low, in about 10 minutes I found about 4 psyduck and that was it.

I agree. Possibly also a special colour for 6 level 50s and 6 level 100s so people can easily tell they would most likely want to battle.

I have a thing called friends lol. Crazy I know. I have 2 laptops and a desktop at my home so it's not like I can't just use 2 computers if I want to.

I personally just want to buy TMs. Like put a merchant at Indigo Plateau (if you can get there, you obviously are able to access almost all the TMs). Putting it as a 1% on a Pokemon means I'd much rather spend the 3-4 hours rushing a game and I'll get a whole set of each TM again.

I made an account with a female character but the name already existed so I changed the name and hit create and it made it a male... Wish I could change that. Haven't made any progress with the character
