  3. I've got countless sheets of jazz and classical music that I've played and/or written, so yes I can.

  5. Started playing piano at 11 (for one year, kicking myself for stopping) and double bass since I was 12. I played with my university's symphony for a year and still play bass guitar, mostly prog, jazz, rock, funk, and occasionally country because god damn are there a lot of country bands in Texas. CURRENT SETUP: 5-string Fender J bass Saving for 2 "Swiss Army" basses - a much higher quality J bass and a fretless J to accompany it. Ampeg amp Pedalboard: Korg tuner, MXR compressor, Moog low-pass filter with envelope mod, Fuzzhugger(fx) bass bloom fuzz, TC Electronic Nova Repeater, currently waiting on an Iron Ether Subterranea octave-synth, might sell my Moog and buy an Iron Ether Xenograph Deluxe filter, and I'm saving for a TC Electronic Corona chorus and Ditto looper. Also going to buy a Cioks DC-10 power supply to run all this madness. PS, I'm a gear nerd/slut.

    Bullying

What are your thoughts on bullying? As someone who was bullied through middle school and my freshman year of high school I know how demoralizing and agitating it is. I also know it's never going to go away so while prevention is certainly helpful, teaching kids how to deal with it and not let it get to them is effective, since the latter tends to stop bullies in their tracks. Then again so does playing rugby and breaking a bully's legs during practice, that's what got them off my back. Why do you think they do it? Typically it's to try to assert their dominance over the other kids and/or to get a laugh at others' expenses. I remember in the 90s everyone said bullying was a result of abusive parents and the like and while that may be the case sometimes it's not very common. Do you think cyber bullying sometimes goes too far? Cyber bullying is getting way too much attention and too many people are making a fuss out of it. The fix is simple - close the damn web browser and ignore it. If they're persistent on Facebook or whatever, block them and change your privacy settings. Have you ever participated in any bullying activites? Nope
