If i have to pick i would pick the first option. But what do I really want? I want the freedom to create the comps I want and not the ones that get picked to be the prize. You can create this with cash prizes or tradeable shinies (so we can sell those).

I dont think a lot of comp. players are interested in shinies they just want good comps and the money to make them. Those shinies arnt comp. (enough) for them because the comps they are using to win this prize are simply better. I dont see any added value to a pokemon be shiny if they arnt better then the comps I use or if i cant sell them to make comps. It seems to me you have no idea who your target group is.
