You have to finish the storyline in order to get there. Yes you get a new starter. And yeah you get to keep all your stuff but the level restrictions in place with the badges still happens, so high level stuff wont obey.

Presumably when everything else is implemented then they will start adding some more original content, dungeons, regions, etc.

I know there used to be checklists before but its been so long since we have seen that and now that we have had so many additions to the the game the list is really getting alot shorter. PokeMMO can currently run on iphones and android using screen sharing and i know there is a very old thread on the forums talking about it. So for those who are truly in need of doing this, you already can. In order for the devs to get this to run on android there would have to be some sort of drag n drop rom folder within the app. This essentially would make the app a souped up emulator and may require some users to root their device in order to play. This could make a app seem sketchy.

This thread makes it pretty black and white. As far as gameplay goes adding a new region doesnt add any real content. The only real way to add a "Johto" would be to port gen 4 maps in from the SS rom. This is fine but we would most likely only get the maps because importing gen 4 pokes would rek our meta. "Hoenn won't be our last region either. But for now we're building on what we have, instead of trying to make PokeMMO "as wide as an ocean, and as deep as a puddle". So he clearly wants to add a new region at some point in the future. What we are probably going to get is a a new mini region to add some end game content. The PVE dungeons they mentioned long ago most likely. They want to add a new region but it most likely going to be a fan made region to fit in some new end game content.

Nope because mods can't use copyrighted content without have it take the resources from a rom first. Also they arent really interested in putting in new regions to begin with.

As funny as the calcs are against the shitmons the guy kind of has a point. Metagross has 600 BST putting him into a league of his own. Not to mention his OP typing. I'm not saying we should ban him by any means because we all know his speed ends up being his demise. Still i think its healthy to look at mons like this with OP BST and atleast consider the option of banning him, however stupid or unlikely it is. That being said there are some other cancerous issues in the meta currently with lax approaching 50% usage and chansey being near that usage prior to his unbanning. Those mons both being the most viable spec walls in the OU meta right now. Thats cancerous imo.

Why are you guys still doing npc runs? They severely nerfed the payouts and gave us the option to rematch hoenn gyms and the e4 with a proper comp ubers team. It's pretty much only viable to fight the beauties and a few npcs in hoenn. I'd say the only true downside to this ability would be the aforementioned def training spot mt magma. Even this however can be replaced by other ev training spots and/or simply put up with while using a damp golduck thus taking about 2x the time to ev train in a place that is easy to get to and sometimes gives 10 def evs a battle. Using a macho brace and a switch it would take 1 extra turn but you would gain 20 def evs.

OOhhh snappp. Never thought of that. Gen 6 allows you to add a third type to mons with certain moves too so....... 16x resistance ftw?
