This is great! I love where this is going! I say if you want to expand on it, then maybe you could design custom icons and buttons for it to really stand out but if you choose not to then it is completely fine. The power symbols instead of the checks are really nice.
If I could complain though, I only wish it to be slightly more translucent but darker than the default log in box. Maybe that could be another theme if you want to keep the dark one(Neat-Light, Neat-Clear, Neat-Glass or Neat-B as suggestions to a name of possible future themes)
Also, maybe it is due to the current patch but the words on the top left are messed up when your theme is on.
If you can do these in addition to your to-do list then there is probably no theme I could ask for.
