I imagine this has been requested a lot of times, but I do feel like the Pokétch was a major part of what made Platinum great and should definitely be a focus of being added to the game. Out of the many things yet to be implemented, I do feel like this could be one of the easier things to add, especially if you're able to get the code from a ROM or an extracted version of Platinum.
Idea: If you could access the Pokétch the same way you do with other things in the game, like the trade Pokétch where you just open a new window/tab and have it there, the player would be able to move it to where they find it fits best, or not have it at all unless they feel the need to use it.
Personally I wouldn't care at all if animations for it didn't immediately work, as long as the Pokétch itself worked. Being able to use the Dowsing Machine would be a godsend. Also it would give the opportunity for the devs to add their own mods for the Pokétch, if that would ever become an option.
