Elite Four: Channel Two [EN]
THE TOURNAMENT WITH FOUR WINNERS
Key Info
Date and Time: July 18th at 8:00pm EST. If there are concerns about date and time I will take all into consideration.
You must register at least 24 hours before the tournament begins, later entries will not be guarenteed a spot in the bracket but may be chosen to fill absent seats.
Location and Channel: Channel 2 Celadon Cafe (location may change depending on # of contestents)
Level Cap: Level 50 (Tournament Mode will be used)
Amount of Pokemon: All rounds before the final will be 3v3. The final will be composed of 8 players (4 winners) and will be played as a 6v6
Participation: It is reccomended that you spend some time in channel 2 getting to know the players, because there may be follow-up tournaments to determine an Elite Four Champion. I will be participating in the tournament with the help of GoldenSunIsaac (Who will determine my place in the bracket to prevent tampering).
Tournament Format: This tournament is unique in that it will result in 4 winners being unofficially deemed the Elite Four of Channel 2!
Clauses: Sleep Clause,OHKO, Self KO, Species, Bag item, Evasion, Hax Item,
Banned moves: Baton Pass, Torment.
Bracket: http://challonge.com/ will be used.
Prizes: Entrance fee will be 20k with each elite four's reward being the total divided by 4. Final award will be determined in the 24 hours prior to the tournament (depends on entry numbers)
16 people: $80,000 reward for each of the Elite Four.
32 people: $160,000 reward for each of the Elite Four.
Tier: It is an OU tournament so all non-uber pokemon are permitted. I'm considering banning Metagross as well to promote team diversity.
Requirements to join: You must understand and obey all rules listed above. $20,000 in-game currency. You must post your IN-GAME name below to be entered into the tournament. A minimum of 16 entries will be required for this tournament to exist. If the number of entries is above 16 but below 32 it may be capped at 16 unless I can do some work with the brackets to make it work.
