  1. Since it has been a little over a month and I still have these questions and concerns, I feel I should bump this post. Sorry if this is considered necroposting or something similar. The questions and concerns should be in the previous post.
  2. Regarding the third-party software, would Magisk be considered third-party software? I would be using Magisk to manage root access, etc. I found a post on the PokeMMO subreddit describing a roughly similar setup and also the situation I would like to avoid, which would be receiving a ban for unauthorized and/or third-party software despite not wanting to use the software to interact with PokeMMO or violate any rules. Do you happen to know if having PokeMMO and Magisk installed and simply coexisting on the same device is permitted, or would it be easier and less of a risk to just stick with playing on PC and/or a non-rooted Android device?
  3. Hello, I just read through the Code of Conduct and I did not see anything mentioned specifically about rooted Android devices. I did a small amount of searching on the forums and found a few results about themes in relation to rooted Android devices, but that is it. Does anybody (ideally an administrator, moderator, etc.) know if PokeMMO is allowed to be played on a rooted Android device? The device I would prefer to have PokeMMO on would be rooted, otherwise if it is not allowed, I can just set it up on a different, non-rooted device. Thanks, CJH
  4. I think the suggestion itself and parts of the justification are great. Accounts and character names that have been registered and inactive for a very significant amount of time and/or are registered for the sole purpose of being made unavailable to others (similar to cybersquatting but for accounts and character names) could be open to new or active players. I could also somewhat understand if they wanted to leave this benefit to high-ranking staff members for their hard work. But what bothers me is that, assuming @IaraLuv is telling the truth, @Damian could not admit that he received this benefit. Personally, if @Damian had just said he was given a name change as a token of appreciation for his hard work, and higher-ups said to either make a suggestion in the Suggestions Box or simply said no to letting normal users change names in this way, I would have been fine with it. I am hoping for more transparency and less secrecy when it comes to things like this. Edit: Also, thank you to @Bearminator for responding to @IaraLuv with the correct information!
