1.
please install the alpha6 first :) there are many changes, for graphics too. i need your OS version+desktop+hardware to know more. seems like you run a debian unstable or ubuntu trusty right now
Okay i will give it a go i already give my hardware info on another thread so i just copied and pasted it here Operating System: Linux Mint 16 64Bit Java Version: java -version java version "1.7.0_25" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.3.12) (7u25-2.3.12-4ubuntu3) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode) Graphics Card: lspci | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07) (If you need more info like the X.org or the GLX tell me.) I am guessing the alpha 6 replaced my old pokeMMO http://pastebin.com/bDbfNLYe
2. Umm the terminal command was not found so i just opened it in the terminalhttp://pastebin.com/vi42kYRg i think the slowing of the FPS is because this game is heating up my laptop and when that happens the CPU starts to throttle. I got a windbox fan blowing cool air into the vent so lets see if heat is the problem.
3. Just got the update hope it fixes the FPS and a problem were it would say the client would slow down because of a graphic error.
4. Thanks again with the xorg can i just comment out the #( Get rid of the #)on #Option "AccelMethod" "sna" and put a # on the Option "AccelMethod" "uxa" would that activate SNA or would i have to copy Section "Device" Identifier "intel" Driver "intel" Option "AccelMethod" "sna" EndSection That and paste it over my current Xorg file. Or should i just make another one? I cannot name it what this link wants me to name it though. No slashes are allowed in filenames. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Intel_Graphics#Choose_acceleration_method
5. One more question SNA acceleration" improves performance significantly (see here: https://wiki.archlin...leration_method) How would you create /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf I have a Xorg.conf that looks like this Section "Device" Identifier "Card0" Driver "intel" Option "AccelMethod" "uxa" #Option "AccelMethod" "sna" EndSection
6. Thanks for the update! I hope it will fix some FPS problems i am having. The game will start out with 30FPS good enough to play the game but as i play it just gets lower and lower till i get like 6-9 FPS and i have to restart the client. Any tips on that? By the way since this game is made from java you ever though of bringing this to Andriod?
7. It says it is disabled by default. Do we need to enable it?
