Do you fail to realize how many other games you have played that you have most likely put so many hours into and don't even play anymore? Do you fail to realize majority of children grow up wasting their life and teenage years on nothing but games that they will eventually move on from? Are you that stupid? I'm all for the server wipe.

Honestly I wouldn't like a wipe. I've played games where they'd wipe every two months and that was tiring. Starting from nothing all over again, and again. Wiping here would probably make me want to leave. It would mean i wasted a year of playing time wasted. Besides i formed a relationship with my corsola which took SO LONG to breed. Doing that again would just irritate me.

So many bans I feel coming. Ou will be going back to what it was with the bans I feel. Dragons ttar gross will all be uber. If there not, great but I just feel that will be inevitable. I hope I am wrong. Split would be nice but idk how healthy it is gen 3. Especially without stealth rocks, I think we would need.
We should get hoenn in the game officially before even considering this tbh. They're moving too fast, and they're not even done tweaking the breeding system. I believe they should work on it one at a time, or it will just be a big pile of junk that will take longer than 7 months to fix.

Sounds more like that gives them a huge advantage more than screws them over, do explain how it screws them over? If they chose not to use it, they are screwing themselves over, not the breeding system.
How is that an advantage? All that they have worked for, forked over for one fucking egg. Especially if they bred in the harder egg groups. It's a major fuck you.

also this new system totally screws over hardcore breeders, who didn't really play comp, just breed. they got 6x31 in lots of egggroups, they worked hard for those breeders, and now they can't do shit with them.

I had a question about shiny breeding, but then I thought "Wait lel, lets not spoil it. I'll just wait until someone actually tries it hue."
lol I dont think the idea was "make everyone able to breed godly comps with 0 dollars" but meh, we all worked our way up under worst circumstances. Biggest issue is I worked my way up by borrowing EvilSneasels decent eevee and sold shit eevees to 500k cash and the new system wont allow it . I'm sure there'll be different moneymaking opportunities in hoenn.
Who knows, but I don't see it easy enough to breed when you start out unless you do some alt runs, or prepared to payday to even get the items to breed. Pretty much i think only people with a lot of money will benefit from it more in the beginning.

This took me about 2 hours and 30 minutes of catching time to get the right wild Pokemon I needed and took me 4 eggs to get to this point. I used 3 everstones and some power braces and it cost me around 200-250k. In my opinion this is a Pokemon I would have no issue using competitively. I believe that this is definitely achievable and a move in the right direction.

I didn't think breeding was a huge problem either, but Kyu is suggesting in that other thread that they want to stop the "deflation" of the market is my understanding. I am not sure if that's the proper word but I think the meaning is to basically stop 30's and 31's from being the only thing worth a significant amount in the trade box and make it more dynamic like it was in 2012. There are only two ways I see to do that:
1. Nerf breeding
or
2. Nerf trading
I was trying to figure out how to nerf trading because (like I said in last post) I think cutting off access to the comp scene for newer guys is death.
I don't think there's a problem with the breeding system. I think the trade system is a problem. Maybe set prices to certain pokes(even if it might be a pain for all those poke) . Maybe setting a limit to how high or how low due to ivs/natures. But that will have to be up to the value discussion to be up for it as well.

Quit ur pety uguuing and just w8. You are playing a game that is still in its alpha stages of development with only 3 devs working on it. If you dont expect shit like this to happen then you are ignorant as to what it takes to make a game especially an mmo where there are balancing factors to worry about.
