Hey there, I am IAmNova. I used to play PokeMMO back in 2012/2013, and I decided to come back after a 9-year hiatus. It's been interesting to see how the game's evolved and expanded after all these years. I'll be lurking on Channel 2, so if you happen to run across me, don't be afraid to say hi.

At least they aren't proposing 2,000+ hours. Anyways, if this gets considered, I would personally agree with 500-750 hours.

[/quote] There's not really any perks for having your own channel as well...and the whole purpose of this Channel is to segregate the "intelligent and experienced" players...you can easily do that in TeamSpeak.

The economy is basically all "i wnt egg" or "WTT LVL 4 PICKACHU LF LVL 100 SHINYS!!!!!!!!111oneeleven" The game uses Gen III mechanics, that is why you need a FireRed ROM to play. The Pokemon...it's fucking Gen III, of course. It's also not hard to look at a thread on the FAQ for a list of implemented moves and such. A lack of game-play time has nothing to do with it. The lack of initiative is the problem.

Legendary - Articuno. Starter - Torchic. Gen 1 - Rattataaaa. Gen 2 - Tyranitar. Gen 3 - Tie between Blaziken, Latias, and Latios. Gen 4 - Torterra. Gen 5 - Serperior. Ultimate - Rattata. =D

We are naturally stupid, and giving people online services like social networking and MMOs (great examples are Runescape and WoW) only helps to amplify said stupidity. Now, I'm not saying that everyone is an idiot, but there's not a lot of intelligent people on PokeMMO. (No offense, but it is kinda true. :l)

The player's generally a nice person, doesn't start shit and keeps to him or herself. The moderator is more likely to go with his or her personal experiences with the player, which wasn't so great. What's that player going to do then?

It also doesn't prevent "cancerous" chat, people can just donate or hit 100 hours in 2-4 weeks. The tournaments could easily be held in Channel 8; why should new players be excluded from spectating and participating in them? The moral won't improve if idiots swamp the channel. Just saying.
