TOTAL OTs: 0 Meet Pingus, a frequent visitor to Undella Bay, and Shiny Pelliper. It was February 26th, 2024 when our paths crossed- a chance encounter I will never forget. There I experienced the highest of highs and an even greater low. When my eyes first beheld the fates made manifest I was stricken with shock and awe. She was the first I had ever beheld. Her feather gleamed with a fluorescent verdant; her pupils beamed a jovial elation unfit for the tragic cruelty soon to beset me. None could ever be prepared for her beauty. I was ill-prepared for the catch, frantic and fumbling, my mind's voice screamed question after question. How delicate must I be? Which ball shall house her? Should I await the departure of rain's darkened skies? And whilst I toiled in turmoil of both mind and body one stark fear rose to prominence. All the while my bowels were churning with the ferocity of Mt. Pyre's hellish fumes. It demanded my attention, pilfered it from the jewel before me. With a final glance, I gazed into her glassy eyes and within them I knew patience to be an absent virtue. I was at time's mercy, my inattentive would soon drive her away. As I departed to relieve and recollect I left behind a Pippi doll. I'd meant it to entertain or distract, maybe she'd even mistake it for me, as crude as an imitation it was. At a fraction of the height and devoid of any liveliness she was not fooled. The fleeting flutter of her wings will forever haunt me 'til the end of my days. It is time I step away. To reflect and regret as a recluse. Whether it be abject disdain or momentary fright, I plea to the winds that you might one day return. Never could I expect you to grace the waters of this bay again, but if you do... I'll be damned if another ferries you home.
