Then why should this be implemented? If some of the moves are missing or the bridges are missing, why is this needed in the meantime? All this amounts to is a temporary solution for learning moves that could be learned via breeding once the proper bridges are in place; with the exception of Snorlax being able to learn Selfdestruct.
Note: There were two ways to get Selfdestruct on Snorlax, one was the tutor in XD:Gale of Darkness and the other was catching a Munchlax on Winner's Path in HG/SS. The Winner's Path method was an event only way to catch a Munchlax with Selfdestruct, from there you could evolve it into Snorlax for breeding, and it is entirely possible that there will be a different way to teach Selfdestruct to Snorlax in the future.
There are still SOME pokemon that will -NEVER- be able to learn them from breeding, LIke genderless pokemon who cannot inherit egg moves.
Also thank for pointing out Wailmer is in field... Muhahahh.. i will have fun with this ^-^

Matoka you can get move tutor moves through breeding with the way breeding works in this game.
Yes, However only if the baby for of the pokemon can learn it, For instance Crobat can learn Sky attack through move tutor, But zubat cannot, so you cannot breed sky attack onto zubat. sadly.

Sky attack:
Aerodactyl, Crobat, Togetic.Sorry for double post however, it seems you thought Sky attack WAS brave bird, they are different, Sky attack is like solar beam, you charge up 1 turn then attack. Brave bird activates on the first turn but has high recoil.
Its like saying Solar beam and Double edge are identical :p

I think this is a great idea, especially because my crobat is already EV trained and everything, it would take ages to get a new one with sky attack.
even if you wanted to get a new one, it is -IMPOSSIBLE- to get sky attack on crobat since its pre-evolutions cannotlearn it, therefore it cannot learn sky attack from breeding.
Some moves are still missing outright though, and some bridges may be missing.

Sky attack:
Aerodactyl, Crobat, Togetic.Nightmare can only currently be learned by the Gengar line, or Hypno at lv. 0 (thus move-relearner) so its currently in the Amorphous and Human-Like egg groups (and field with smeargle). There are no bridges that can learn this, so it is unavailable outside of those egg groups.
Nightmare:
Butterfree, Clefairy, Clefable, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Dunsparce, sneasel.Dunsparce and Sneasel are in the Field egg group. They can possibly get it.

Selfdestruct is learned by Geodude, Voltorb, Koffing, and Pineco. Thus Mineral, Amorphous, and Bug egg groups (plus Field for Smeargle). Wailmer is needed as a bridge to pass it into the Water 2 egg group (Quilfish). Seedot is needed to pass it into the Grass egg group (Exeggcute). Shellder is in the Water 3 egg group. There is no bridge to this with Selfdestruct.
Self destruct:
Qwilfish, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Shellder, Cloyster, Lunatone.Lunatone is in the mineral group. It can learn it.
(Also there is no bridge to the monster group. No selfdestructing snorlaxes possible)
Oh give me more egg chain questions.
You cannot simply dismiss being able to get one move in gen 3 by saying we will get a new move in gen 4. that is not a valid reason to dismiss it since we will probably not get gen 4 for i'd say 2 years or more. Also Sky attack is an entirely different move. Its unfair to say they are one and the same.
Lunatone is genderless, as far i know it cannot breed with other pokemon to receive self destruct.
You say once we get Wailmer we can get qwilfish with self destruct right? No. Because wailmer cannot learn self destruct without the move tutor, So that would mean BOTH of them are unable to get it without the move tutor
in regards to nightmare, i missed that hypno can learn it so you are correct. however some pokemon STILL cannot learn it, Eg sneasel + dunsparce.
I will re-clarify the reason for this suggestion, To allow -ANY- pokemon that can learn it from move tutor to be able to get, Not just those lucky few who have egg move chains.
When i said "only if the father can learn the move" i literally meant "only if it can learn the move through any means possible", Including TM, Tutor, Breeding, Level up. Some pokemon just don't have the connections.

Correct. XD Move Tutor moves can be inherited via Breeding from the Father.

We will get hoenn eventually so there is no need to implement emerald move tutors here in kanto, HOWEVER, we will most likely (almost 100% sure) never get access to the Orre region, where several move tutors are available.
Unless directly added, Self destruct, Sky attack and Nightmare will not be available to some pokemon.
EDIT: Thread was locked and unlocked because OP was not entirely clear, The purpose of this suggestion is to allow ALL pokemon who could learn it through move tutor to be able to get it in Pokemmo, Some pokemon just cannot breed with a pokemon that can know the move, therefor making it impossible to chain breed to, Examples include but are not limited to:

that is actually a good idea.......how about lvl 5 then?
It has 0 use, You cant get pokemon under level 5 except those at the start of a game / hatched pokemon, sorry but your suggestion is completely pointless IMO

I understand that it may have some benefits, However i personally am strongly against it since a thread i made is all about a community made event where we donate level 5 pokemon to new players, If this was put into effect this would be impossible so i will have to say no.

This isn't fire red, this is PokeMMO. Things are changed to suit an MMO, where you will have to work to get to the fun stuff at the end. Not supporting these tyrone or w/e coins but the lucky egg and tm system people currently use is fine.
so when something is changed to suit an MMO it take away all of the free time that the origonal game gave you to do as you wish? Currently there is enough to do in Pokemmo where if i had to spend time in GC and safari hunting then i would get nothing done in any free time

In fire red / leaf green the goal of the game wasnt to farm chanseys in safari zone, or spend your whole life in game corner, It was to fight, to train to have fun, and with multiplayer added its even more fun, but farming game corner and hunting chanseys dont add anything fun to the game

I want to be able to use OTHER things, i dont want an economy where if i want to buy a REALLY cheap item i have to get a REALLY RARE item, You mentioned this will help with really common shinies that aren't worth 1 egg, WELL WHO THE HECK CARES? USE TM'S, USE MEDIOCRE COMPETITIVE POKES, Don't use a FRACTION of a lucky egg, Your being so inconsiderate for those who didn't abuse the thief - egg glitch ages ago, People never got them rolled back, so that means people who did it enough will suddenly have a huge boon in trading, they will be super rich, No one legitimately can have as many eggs as someone who exploited the bug, So if what i understand from your idea is correct:
Exploiters of an old bug become market Tycoons with seemingly limitless cash
People who over play the game spending 20 hours a day in safari zone will have MEDIOCRE AT BEST money
people who try to actually play the game as intended will have nothing, will be rejected by all traders since they don't have "Gold coins" even though they have some nice TM's or pokemon
Your system would make casual players like me and many others feel unable to keep up with the rest of the player base, It would deduct any free time from the game making it impossible to spend time hatching eggs, Talking with friends, having friendly duels at viridian, EV training, doing something OTHER THAN HUNTING LUCKY EGGS.
NO. DON'T DO THIS TO A GAME I ACTUALLY ENJOY. DON'T TURN IT INTO GAME WHERE ECONOMY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ACTUALLY PLAYING.

i hate to say this but your wrong, altaria learns sky attack so it will be available to breeding however some pokemon can only learn it in their final forms, so breeding isnt an option~
