So, if you see on "Ribbons" tab, it says that Gift Pokémons will always obey you, but that's not the case. I went to Kanto with my Level 57 Sceptile and always "loafing around". Typo bug? Obey bug? Up to you.

I'll explain it with a simple image. It would be nice to move that option to customize each specific tab. So, when I switch to Team tabs the chat input switches automatically to Team too.
Because you know, sometimes I end up sending trades into global because I miss to switch chat input...

No, to go from Kanto to Hoenn you need to go to the port in Vermillion City and to go from Hoenn to Kanto you need to go to the port in Slateport City.

There's no count. Like previously said, there's a chance of 1 between 8192 of you getting a shiny Pokémon.
Let's say the lucky number is 5555, when the wild pokémon is generated, a random number is generated with it, if that random number equals the lucky number (in this case 5555) then it'll be a shiny pokémon.
You can get tons of shiny pokémons in a row, but you would need to be extremely lucky.

Obviously Latios, I'm waiting for it to get implemented (I may quit before...) so I get a Shiny Latios.

Well, if I recall correctly on Route 104, almost on Rustboro City you have a Double Battle with twins. But then after that, no double battles at all.

Before saying "Mewtwo is available", as far as I know, it's a special event. Cool. But why going though all that trouble just to register it on your Pokédex?
I think legendaries should be available to anyone when they reach that certain point in the game story (or atleast, make them catchable after finishing the game story), as they're part of the game and they are part of a competitive tier.
Also, It'd be cool to hunt for a shiny Latios. :) (Wouldn't you like a Shiny Rayquaza?!)

Battle Frontier is not yet implemented. Emerald is done up to Elite 4.

Thanks for the answers Kyu. Now I'll just have to hope that you guys will implement some kind of mechanic in the end game, where you'll be able to get or find a starter pretty quick with a reasonable encounter rate. :)
Life is hard, you know? I did like 4 alt runs (going for 5th one) and I can sum up more than 1000 hours here and I haven't got a shiny or have decent IVs Pokémon and I'm not complaining.

I wouldn't call it impossible that some players have the client already, but I doubt that anyone is going to say anything about it.
Can not wait though~Assuming the server is staff-only at the moment, only the staff haves the PTS client, so.
Plus, Kyu said "Further details on how to download this client and procedures for reporting issues will be released within the next few days."
