HALL OF ORIGIN ... Introduction My fellow Pokemon trainers, I am Commandolam, roommate of Arceus, from the Hall of Origin. This guild and its community will be specializing in competitive Pokemon battling. Our members have played Pokemon battles competitively for quite some time now and we all have much battle wisdom to share with those who want to learn. In our thread and in our chat, we will provide our members with personalized, in-depth analyses of their teams and strategies should they seek critique. In-game we will provide our members the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to breed (once it's implemented) and EV train superior Pokemon that will help them become the very best, like no one ever was. We will also provide assistance with completing the story mode faster if a member needs to go through it again to obtain a certain item. I want to note that this group is not meant to be expansive. That simply means our goal is not to recruit as many members as we can. In fact, because we'll be assisting members with resources, we'd prefer to keep our core membership smaller than the usual PokeMMO guild. More on that below. ... Group Membership Anyone can post below and consider themselves a member of Hall of Origin I suppose, but as I said, we're going to keep our core membership relatively small. Core members will receive the benefits detailed above. Non-core members will have access to our casual PokeMMO Teamspeak once that's added and we'll answer all your basic gaming and battling questions, as well as keep you company. They may also post in this thread freely. I don't know how the other guilds feel about memberships to multiple guilds, but we don't really give a shit. There's no real set criteria for core membership other than general competency and loyalty to group members. I guess if we like you, we'll let you know if you can become one. You can ask occasionally too, we don't mind. If we say no, we'll be sure to let you know why. ... Group Rankings Other than the distinction between core and non-core members, we won't be having any rankings. I'm listed as the leader and zEJAYz is listed as a representative (whatever that is) in that PokeMMO Teamspeak thread, but that's not guild-official. We'll decide on the important things together with equal voices. We believe how others perceive you should depend on your words and actions, not a title or a rank. ... Group Teamspeak Rules 1. What's up with this tough love crap? It benefits everyone and adds convenience to the game. I've played competitive battles for 2 or 3 years now and I still forget some once in a while. It'll also decrease the amount of people asking dumb questions and save time by removing the need to search things. There is literally no downside to this.
