I like this idea. Assuming random chances on getting certain things, and assuming the 'rare' or 'strong' pokemon have random IVs/Natures as well, there's no need to inflate the cost of one bag to millions and millions of pokedollars. Around ~150k for a grab bag would be fine, escalating per tier for a reasonable amount, because realistically, people will need to buy several bags before getting anything worthwhile. It would also make money worth more in trades, when money trading comes out.

Not necessarily. Take Guild Wars 2 for example. They have 'secret rooms' and 'hidden chests' that are the same for everyone (some despawn, some don't). There's no reason not to make a few of the cards the same in the same locations (some with a timed spawn, some without) while the majority are harder to find/drop off wild pogeyman/etc.

The Magikarp will be deleted/released, I'm not sure why you guys think I (or anyone else on the staff team) wants (or even needs) any Pokemon with good IVs. It's really silly and I'd appreciate it if people would stop asking me that question. Staff don't hold events like this because we want to benefit from it.
