Im assuming that the devs still refuse to fix breeding if the recent posts here are any indication... it's quite simple to fix. Keep the IV passing changes and the item effects we have of the current system and revert the 'murding parents' to the 'not murding parents' and things would easily slide back into place. The slogan is "No BS, just games" but this current breeding system is total BS if im brutally honest. Agree 100% Once again I agree 100% ...so they setup a poll on this thread and decided to ignore it completely? Well that's bull since it's a no brainer that killing parents SUCKS if the current votes that says ALOT of people don't like the new system is any indication... and if im not mistaken the vote went up quite a bit since the last time I visited this thread so that's a thing :T

I hate being cussed at more then anything and you are trying to start a fight... key word is trying, ive been around for quite some time and have had my "fingers on the pulse of the server" since 2012 and I have been a respectable player throughout all that time... if anything the fact I have not started flinging insults to all of you who disagree with me or started bashing you for having a certain view just goes to show that im at least trying to be civil! "But what do I know, I'm no breeding God like you are" is a sarcastic remark, and sarcastic remarks are fight starters... the funny part is im not going to stoop to your level since I honestly could care less of what you think of me. I gurantee you ive been at the pokemon games longer then you kid and I take pride in the fact ive mastered breeding to such a degree since pokemon was my child hood... but I degress, you don't know me and from your comment I would like to keep it that way so I can have my distance from you. Your actually pretty funny! Exactly when did I say I only breed in xy/oras? Shoot, I have over 900 4-6IV pokemon from the original ruby alone... that's not factoring in all the others that were transfered through pokebank, poke transfer, and pal park from various other games... I honestly lost count but if I had to round a rough amount I would say all in total comes to around 80000 specially bred pokemon without counting the ones ive bred in the 6th gen games... most of those from the GBA games. Do you have over 100 shiney pokemon with 3-6 Ivs, good natures, and a few egg moves that were not bred in the 6 gen games? I had so many that I just started wonder trading shinies and perfects! I can't deny the 6th gen breeding mechanics being to easy but the moment you imply I have no idea what im doing you insult countless hours of work and make me feel like complete crap. Pokemon was my childhood and breeding was my thing, and here you come basically saying my entire childhood was worthless :/ I won't argue with you since your are right to an extent.. but I will say this, every time I see a rude or sarcastic remark to people on here I look back at the forums from before 2014 and think to myself "When did the place get so dark..." Thank you for helping drive that point home like all the other repliers ive just replied too... While you obviously got your fact's wrong. Next time you reply, please make sure your not stating completely false information. I have stated multiple times I am in fact not a noob, something you have either ignored or didn't read in my previous posts... and I have read the thread, I just don't agree with it and by the fact the 'don't kill the parents' vote went up some more in the last 24 hours I think theres a few more people then you think that disagree with it like I do... nice. Also, out of pure curiosity... exactly how long have you been playing the game and lurking on the threads? Ill tell you, ive been here in the shadows of the thread since 2012 and always watching and always playing the game when I can. I didn't know forum accounts were seperate from ingame accounts so I needed to make one since the sacrifice system was bad enough to get a mega lurker like be engaged... please tell me how that is a noob? I am honestly curious, how am I a noob?! That's an insult to my intellegence with how long ive stuck with this game and community! Your basically calling me stupid for being with the game at all! ... I take personal offense to the insults and slights against my intellegence since I have not lied once in any of my posts but yet everyone seems to nitpick only certain parts of my previous posts for specific things to attack... I didn't become active instead of lurking just to be attacked by people on the forums, although from the twists ive seen on the forums themselves over the two years I don't know why I was suprised... maybe I was hoping I was just reading to much into things? Don't know and don't have time to waste trying to figure it out so ill just accept it for what it is for now and move on

...wow, not only rude but doesn't know how to spell :/ Also I haven't played any of the gameboy games in a while since I like the breeding system in the newer ones. ... One other thing, just because it's an mmo doesn't mean "Make everything grindy until it's not fun"... I was honest to god considering a donation to the devs but with the sacrifice system I not only reconsidered but have vowed to not donate until it's fixed, just like almost EVERYONE on the server yesterday has said... it's bull crap. EDIT: Theres also the unbalanced part of the equation... you sink almost all your cash on pokeballs to catch replacements to ones you sacrificed when there isn't many ways to get that money back, the game has taken a dark turn ;_;

Sorry to tell you this but im not a new player... ive played the game in 2012 and 2013,loved it both times! I can tell you that the "replication/copying" you just stated was NOT a big issue... if anything it was better then the current breeding system for just that reason since there was linage and variations to certain pokemon floating around servers. I don't care if it's more 'mmo like' since it's pokemon! It's not suppose to be boringly grindy for anything but training them up levels, Evs, and hatching eggs! I don't get how anyone can be happy with the current sacrifice system, even if they are the minority of the players since the general whole seems to hate the idea... that's saying something right there. Shoot, from the details ive read on the 'character purges' and the criteria for your character to meet to prevent deletion... im apparently one of the 'vetran pros' since my character has been around since 2012 AND has evaded all the purges by meeting every criteria but the 6 month rule. I can tell you what changes were good and what ones weren't throughout the pokemmo history... and this one is definatly not on the good list, pretty much every player on the server calls the sacrifice system "Bull Crap" using the tarous icon thingy... gotta admit, that was funny xD

Nope, the logic is making pokemon into sacrificial lambs just to breed, even casually, is just dumb in general. Since im a casual breeder and like to experiment this is a major issue for me and apparently a bunch of other people if the poll is any indication :/

I, like many others, have an attachment to ALL my pokemon... and no, this sytem is NOT 'up my ally' since ive nver had to sacrifice pokemon to breed in any pokemon game ive ever played. The funny part is I was most likely the one that started a chain that led to the 'wonder trade ralts boom' back in X and Y due to excessing breeding... around 90000 eggs hatched and wonder traded while the only shinys I got were promtly wonder traded with the rest due to sucky stats :/

I just started playing with my old character GhostFan from WAY long ago and I have to say... I hate the new breeding system, which is saying something since ive been playing pokemon since Red version was first released and GhostFan was apparently good enough to survive all the server purges for the last year or two. Don't get me wrong, all the changes are good but when I have to sacrifice two pokemon I worked hard for and have gotten attached too for even one egg... that's when I have a problem. This needs to be fixed since that's pretty much makes breeding all about gambling, something I want no part in... which is sad since ive been breeding pokemon since gold version. Im a breeding GOD and I don't say that lightly, want a pokemon with and obscure egg move, hidden ability, or a certain amount of IVs? Im your go too guy. Want a specialized pokemon from scratch? Im your go too guy. Want to sacrifice all your pokemon for a risk that's not worth the effort? Nope, count me out... this sucks! :/ ...don't even get me started on the whole "You can't make a thread" thing, that just made this all the worse since I had to flip through the entire forums to find a relevent thread! Why did I have to make a seperate forums acount when I already signed up a LONG time ago?
