    Shards System

Why can't we have shards in the department stores at the cost of average TMs, around 30k? This would negate the stupid grind but would still keep shard value.
  2. Sounds like a good choice, it can somehow deal with Hera thx to Intimidate, I'm worried about EQ/Rock Slide though. Arcanine also counters Venusaur nicely. And a priority move is always nice, since I lack a phazer.
  3. Weezing sounds like a good choice, can deal some special damage as well and is another pokemon immune to Spikes. Sorry for my noobiness but what's a "k9"? ._. EDIT: Kay-nine means Arcanine, right? :P
  4. Does Sleep work differently from original games? Also Heracross seems like a decent choice, although I'm looking for something that can switch in on enemy Heracross, since all my other guys can't really take a hit from it.
  5. Hello, I'm new to pokemmo but not new to competitive battling, although the last gen I played competitively was 4th Gen lol. Basically I built my team around bulky Gyarados, I tried to compliment its weaknesses with other pokemons. I also noticed a weakness to Venusaur and need advice on which pokemon to add to my team to counter it. I don't have a Rapid Spinner, because half of my team is immune to Spikes and I can easily deal with Spikers. Gyarados @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: ?? HP / ?? ATT / ?? SPD Adamant Nature - Earthquake - Waterfall - Taunt - Dragon Dance The core of the team, Taunt lets me set up on Skarmory and some other phazers. What I need help with is the best EV spread, as I don't know what I need to outspeed in pokemmo OU tier. Flygon @ Choice Band Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 ATT / 252 SPD Jolly Nature - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Thunderpunch / Firepunch - Crunch Fairly easy to switch in because of immunities to Electric and Ground moves, compliments Gyarados by being able to damage some common physical tanks. Metagross @ Leftovers Ability: Clear Body EVs: 252 HP / 252 ATT / 4 SPD Adamant Nature - Meteor Mash - Earthquake - Thunderpunch - Pursuit Acts like sort of a tank, hits hard while being able to take some hits, Gyarados resists both of its weaknesses as well so Gyara can switch in fairly easily after Metagross. Also Pursuit as the only reliable Gengar-killing move in my entire team ;_; Gengar @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 252 SPD Timid Nature - Shadow Ball - Thunderbolt - Giga Drain - Hypnosis My team lacked a special attacker so I threw Gengar in it, three immunities make it easy to switch in, also Hypnosis lets me put someone to sleep, although not very reliably, it's more of a backup move. Blissey @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 4 SPD Bold Nature - Softboiled - Seismic Toss - Toxic - Aromatherapy Standard Cleric Blissey, gets shat on by Gengar, so I needed something to kill it, Pursuit on Metagross is one option but suggestions are appreciated. ?? @ ?? Ability: ?? EVs: ?? ?? Nature - ?? - ?? - ?? - ?? Last team member, something that lets me counter threats like Venusaur and Heracross. Help is much needed and appreciated! EDIT: Actually I can somehow deal with Venusaur (and Forretress) if I use Firepunch instead of Thunderpunch on Flygon.
  6. 252 HP / 252 SP.DEF is solid, not optimal though. Think there was a spread with a bit less SP.DEF and more DEF that was more efficient, but also needed Careful nature.

  8. Does this guide work for Soul Silver only, or also Fire Red and Emerald?
