  1. So one game. Two teams. Unless we find a need to split it into two games. But yeah, it'd work like how Aqua and Magma work in Emerald kind of.
  2. So we've discussed it a lot on the Skype and we've decided the types for the two legendaries.... [spoiler]Fighting/Ghost and Psychic/[b]???[/b][/spoiler] There [b]will [/b]be two teams. One team's goal is to continue Humanity's growth in the way of industrialization and strength. The other will persue spirituality and intelligence. This is all we have, but we'll be expanding on it. Your input, as always, is welcome and appreciated.

Certain events would be different, obviously, as there is always a difference in two versions of the games (Like who's the good guy in RSE). I may need to replay Platinum and see how they handled things, they only had one group.

[/quote] I was thinking of the same thing as the first suggestion you had, a nature vs. manmade thing, it involved something more virtual though with the man-made thing, similar to Porygon... but Porygon was always teetering on a Digimon it seemed haha. I'm pretty sure we're only going to have one group though(Group Annex) though if it comes down to us having to make more, then I guess we may have to. Though it certainly would be possible to shift the goals of the one group from version to version.

  7. This is really cool and all, but I don't believe this belongs in the Client Customization forum, as this forum is specifically for things that customize your PokeMMO game client. Maybe Off Topic or Multimedia I'm guessing.

  10. We're not ready for people to be randomly trying to become trainers yet, but I'll tell you one thing, we're not making custom sprites for people as trainers. Especially not Gijinka. Most likely people will need to choose from the trainer classes we have. I also will need help figuring out how to make this balanced in the future, you're a perfect example of how out of hand this will get in the future. We're going to have a dex that's cut down to 350 or so and people are going to have to choose from the pokemon available to them... so I'm pretty sure what we're going to do with having people in-game is I'll have a list of what kinds of trainers we have, who wants which, and what kinds of pokemon they'll have. First come first serve at that point, and if the pokemon you choose is too common, then I'm sorry, either have your name in or not. Also, referring to the FAQ: [b]Q:[/b] Can I be a gym leader? [b]A:[/b] No. But there is a chance you may become an in-game trainer, but it wouldn't be your username [b]unless your username sounds like it could be a first-name[/b]. I should make that more clear I guess. EDIT: Edited the first post. It's more clear now barely, added a question right below "Can I be a gym leader".

Though in your case it seems it would have been easier to just put the ones you DIDN'T want to see in the game And I respect your opinion about the baby pokemon, but we already have Azurill in game... plus it'd just be weird having Pikachu mate and the egg hatches into a Pikachu I think we do need them just because. Anyone else? I'd like to see what pokemon, maybe 10 or 20, you like most from each gen, so we can get some fan favorites in the dex and ditch the rest.

This is a Pokemon game, so naturally we need the Pokemon to actually do something aside from battling. It'd otherwise take away from the feel of a Pokemon game, because since gen 1 your pokemon are used for cutting skinny trees.   17. That's not from the patch, that's in your game settings. This patch is for the actual in-battle trainer sprites.

  19. It's not really that most are. Hell, some of the ideas I've been throwing around were just brainstorming too. But making Gym leaders gods, or usernames for Gym leaders, etc etc... things like that aren't very canon-like in Pokemon, and the feel we're going for in the game is a legit pokemon feel, as I've said time and again. Just because your idea got shot down doesn't mean we have to end the thread. I'm sorry, it's never easy to tell someone you don't like their idea, and you could always go with your own game and continue with that. But this thread is still here for ideas. Yeah, the people [b]actively[/b] working on this are on Skype. That doesn't mean we aren't always checking the thread and discussing the ideas, because[b][u] we are.[/u][/b] There are good ideas on almost every page here, and this is what this kind of thread is. It's a brainstorming and suggestion thread mainly. Giving advice and opinions about features and plot ideas, giving the players input, and for those who want to more actively help and be involved, they have the means to. I've listed my Skype before, and Kelarr has already joined the Skype to discuss some things with us. That goes for people who know how to code and do pixel art as well, we're always looking for help, and I've intentionally only asked this community, instead of going to PokeCommunity like every other RMXP game ever, because as a member of this community I'd like to let you guys help out on creating a top-notch game. If that was TLDR, then there's no point in arguing.

  22. No, it's more like production of this is going on 18 hours a day for me right now because I'm healing after I was hit by a car, and Warox is always doing work too. I'm staying with a friend who's the lead concept artist, so we're literally always doing work. We're taking this project very seriously and the thread isn't always Honestly guys, add me on Skype, or better yet post more on the thread, do more to be active on the project and you won't feel that way. And some of you may want to replay Black and White or DPPT because this game is going to be very similar to them in the way events and story ideas work. With that said, just a friendly reminder. [spoiler]No more bad ideas[size=2]™[/spoiler][/size] There can't really be a name for the game yet btw until we figure out what happens in the plot, and we've kind of restarted that whole idea to keep it a little more serious and stuff. This should be a fun idea to kickstart this: If we could only have TWO Fakemon, and they're the lead legendaries, what would you make their abilities and backstory? (We may get two versions of the game with trading)

I also would like to note that so far, all the music is updated to Black and White music, that includes surfing, bicycle, wild pokemon, trainer battles, victory fanfare of each, etc etc. It's coming along nicely. Warox has been the biggest help with this project so far. And did I mention the battlers are animated? Oh yeah. The battlers are animated.
