Gotta stick to gen 3 though... right? I haven't read up on the topic yet, but custom regions... Have they been discussed?

The fact that PokeMMO is using generation 3 with a few battle implementations from later generations (4, I believe), I'm kinda thinking it should stop there... Johto is still an option, right?
