How come the ivs of my tyranitar attack decrease after giving it protein?

I was wondering I caught 3 dittos with ivs of 28-31 in health, one with 28-31 in attack, and another with an iv of 30-31 speed, how do i know if the iv will be anything but 31 and when will I find out?
