Anyway...I guess I ought to introduce myself now since that's the reason I came here. o-o
Salutations, PokeMMO community. xP I'm Erijian, or for a shorter name, Eri. (My real name is Jason, to be exact.) I've been playing Pokemon since the time I was four years old, and I started off with Pokemon Yellow back in 1999. The first time I played the game, I became as immersed as a four year old could become in a game. I started playing it wherever I went, whether it was to school, a babysitter's house, or even on the toilet. (Yes, I know... xD)
Since I started off with Pokemon Yellow, it gave me a severe love for Pikachu. Pikachu has remained my absolute favorite Pokemon up to this date, with Arceus following a close second. (OHMAHGAH I LOVE HOW ARCEUS LOOKS. ; w ;(Can't beat Pikachu's absolute adorableness, though. = w =))
I have only had the opportunity to participate in ONE State-wide Pokemon tournament, Washington doesn't appear to have them very often. ; - ; At least I did rather good, and managed to place first in the Western Washington side. I lost in the whole, Washington as a state-wide one due to...Just unfortunate type matchups. xD
I believe in all of the Pokemon games I have, I've clocked in around 3,000 hours total. With the leading game being Pokemon Yellow with around ~600 hours, then Pokemon Ruby with ~500, then Pokemon Crystal with around ~400, then Silver with roughly ~350, then Diamond, and Black with around ~300 each respectively. I hope I clock more time into Black 2 when I pick it up, as I've been lacking times as each generation comes by it seems. ; - ;
Best part of all of this, those are only the main handheld games. xD I've had my fair share of time clocked in on Pokemon Snap, Hey You, Pikachu!, Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, Colleseum, XD, Channel, Battle Revolution, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Sky, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Pinball, etc...The list goes on. xD
I've been collecting Pokemon plushes and cards for a pretty long while too. .o. It started off when I was around six, when my mom took me into Value Village, and we kept finding Pokemon plushes or cards in there at times, so I started buying them every time I went in... xD
And that's roughly my main story on how I got into Pokemon itself, and actually gaming as a whole. If I never would've played Pokemon Yellow, I more than likely would have never gotten into games as a whole. (I'm so happy that I did. T ^ T)
