I finished up on Kanto, but my friend needs help and I can't go back. I've gotten the second badge and I went to Slateport but when I talk the the lady to go back she only says "Sorry, the HOENN to KANTO ferry service is not available at this time". Do I need something else? Is there a certain time I have to be there?

I don't know why, but my Nidorino didn't learn Horn Drill. It only hit level 53 not too long ago (with the help of rare candies) and it didn't learn the one-kit-kill Horn Drill. Is it not in the game yet? Or did the leveling with the rare candies screw something up?
