So been playing on fire red, but wanted to get dive so got emerald rom started it up. It was the exact same, no town differences or anything. What am I missing? Am I supposed to make a new character? If so, will I lose my current character?

So do I need to download the emerald rom to be able to get it? Because I can't get it with just fire red rom. I already have gave celio the stuff so I can go in different regions, but there's no mossdeep city.

So I now understand it's rayquaza and mewto correct? Also how are you supposed to get rayquaza and is he different from mewto and you actually get to keep him?

Is there any bonus by getting it? Or just cuz. Because I would've used a master ball for mewto, but knowing this I definitely wouldn't.

So I wasted A LOT of my time doing some stuff in the Seafoam island thinking I could get Articuno, but I was surprised to check the wiki and see he's not in it and neither are many legendaries. So is there anyone who can tell me what legendary pokemon ARE in the game for fire red? Edit after looking at wiki I'm wondering. Is mewto the only legendary pokemon?

There's no thing that says run: B or any button. I've tried changing bag from b button to something else, but I don't think that has worked.

Yeah so what's the default button to run because I have no clue. I thought when i got the running shoes it was b, but that's to open the bag. Or can you not run and the shoes do nothing?

So I'm about to vs the elite four and just spent almost all my in game cash for my movepool for dragonite, but there's a problem. Dragonite is supposed to learn outrage at lvl 61., but mine hasn't. This wouldn't be a problem if the move tutor who teaches moves you may have missed by leveling or already learn had it, but he doesn't. Can anyone tell me why my dragonite doesn't have outrage? Also for further information I only have the fire red rom installed so maybe that's a part of it? idk.

So I have to fight elite four first? Because I have no clue where Mossdeep city is, so I'm guessing I have to start fighting elite four to get there or something.

So to get yellow shards I have to try to steal from lanturn, but how do I fight him? Do I have to use dive? I'm not even sure if Dive is in this and if so where to get it. This would help a lot if someone could answer this.

Do stealing moves like covet even work in this? Because I've tried to get items from pokemon, but the only time I have is when i just catch them and then take it. Stealing moves don't seem to work for me. Also, if they do work, how are you supposed to know if they worked?

So If I give the day care person my pokemon how long do I need to wait for it to level up to a certain amount? Or do I have to do something outside of the daycare to level it up?
