  1. I am not sure if this is the right section for this, but I'm bored of the meta and I feel like I'm forced into certain sets and sometimes even mons or I won't stand a chance in OU. I just want to be able to test my UU and NU mons in an equal fun game.

  3. This is shaping up to be great! Some things to take notice of.. 1- The Gen 5 ones are too small since they are from a different patch so they need to scale (or be HD as well idk). 2- Some of the Gens 1-4 Sprites need to scale down to say a 75% of what they are now. 3- The pokedex is the main reason the 2nd suggestion exists. Here you'll see that while some are perfect fits.. others seem too big for no reason. so I think a scale of 75~80% to the ones "too big for their own size" would be amazing Pictures:- So as you can see.. The blossom looks amazing, but in reality needs a 55% scale since in combat she would look on par with Scizor if she remains as is xD Volcarona is a Gen 5 so not from this MOD (regardless needs to be bigger) Blastoise needs a 75% scale I think. Scizor needs an 80% scale. Aligator needs a 60% scale. Skarmory needs an 80% scale. Ivysaur needs a 65% scale. And these are just examples.. the idea is.. some of them fall hard from the proportions of how big/small they are or should look. (Obv things like that don't include humongous pokemons but the pictures show the tiny problem that is the scale of some of these sprites)

  6. True, it is a small detail I overlooked since I thought the client had a problem with loading themes, so to avoid it all I asked people to just backup their default theme. Yes don't worry about it ..Use the theme as if it is yours, I don't mind ^^'
  7. I do not mind. Modify it all you want :D Each person can have one little thing they want to edit in it for their preference or even completely change. I don't mind that at all! Thanks for helping him out, would feel bad if someone run into trouble while trying to use this theme. So, thank you :3

Beacause you probably pasted over what was already in the default folder, instead of taking the thing as a whole. 1- The default "Super effective" images were still in there but without the green square, instead it had the default black one; the checksum finds the default images and doesn't fail to start the client unlike what happened with awkways. 2- There were no event items so you wouldn't feel that issue unless you actively look out for it. Still it is missing content and had to be added.

Ahhh finally.. feedbaaaack =w= As for the crash I'll check it, I suspect it is because of the images for the "Super effective" and such.. since I don't think I edited them or maybe even deleted them. That would cause the checksum to fail and hence cause the crash (Doesn't start at all). I will test it and fix it just for you good sir :D As for the icon I'll make sure to add it!   12. Ya that could be it.. umm, whoever responsible of initiating the playbacks in the code may know what this happens.. Either way, I am really enjoying this mod, makes playing the game refreshing :D

Hoii I had two options, either to make this a very long boring topic, or to state some facts real quick. 1- I released a small pokedex change the other day. 2- A guy called X contacted me about reviving a project from 2013. 3- I modified and adjusted it to fit with the new client. 4- I added a few changes and twists to be proud of it, I think. According to X, the original theme was made by people called Fuark, Zoubek and Fable. So I credit them for the base of the theme, on which I built my ideas. Here is what to expect from the theme: There are various other changes, including the loading screen.. edited a random good looking wallpaper from DA and used it. You'll see all other changes as you play ? Also the bg above the login is saying PokeMMO Here is how.. Should look like this LET ME HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS, OR BUG REPORTS.. Cha chaaa Some final thoughts.. in fine print :V 1- Some pokemons kindda escape the theme proportions but they barely do and it still looks neat. 2- I don't know how it'd look with certain mods, just putting this fact out here. 3- The search bar is kindda out of position sometimes, sorry about that. 4- I hope you like the trainer's card =w=.
  14. Whether it is your fault or an other's I'm here to confirm, every time I walk into a PC one of four things happen: 1- The music plays from the mod \(*_*)/ 2- The default music plays ~(o_0)/ 3- Random feedback noises ~(o_o~) 4- Instant crash ~(*O*~)
  15. I've always liked PokeMMO default design. Simple and clear. Despite that I still had a minor issue with the pokedex looking a bit meh among other things.. I'm changing these stuff for personal use but I thought I'd share this very simple change that appealed to my eye. As you can see it is the same original colors but they appear in a more neat way. And anything that you didn't catch or own will simply show in that red shade and indicators which gives more of a push towards the need of completing the pokedex (or at least what's available of it xD) Note: When hovering over anything the bg will darken and anything that is not owned or caught will have the blue indicator of "owned" under it (That's how they programmed it, but for those with 6/6 eye sight two black pixels will appear on each side of the blue line, I did that to differentiate them from the "owned" ones) P.S: This will affect the pokedex and the characters you have on an account when you log in. It still looks neat so no worries. P.S.S: idk if it'd work with other skins, probably not since they overwrite the default skin. I didn't make a mod I simply modified two tiles on this file "Pokemmo\data\themes\default\res\pokemmo_ui.png", replace it with the image below for the effect. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE DEFAULT ONE IN-CASE YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND. If someone wants to turn this into a mod, be my guest.. I'm just too lazy to look the method up xD

I think that "bug" is simply because the "battle" sprites are the same as the "summary" sprites.. if you focus on adjusting for the summary one, the battle ones will look gigantic.. if you focus on the battle ones, the summary ones will look almost tiny. I think with a bit of effort and source materials this is a simple mod to make, and if mods allow some coding you could also mod the "animation" of moves. Also the "scale" concept doesn't fix the invisible border box for some sprites or sometimes makes their sizes questionable at the best.. I think there should be categories like "Default" "Wide" "Tall" "Grounded" "Flying" "Long" etc to make sure each pokemon is at the ideal position when displaying the sprites. I didn't see the insides of pokemmo but it is a simple variable in a class that can be switch-cased before displaying a sprite according to the category that pokemon id is in. Something along those lines, idk how much delay that would add though, really depends.

  18. Uhm a quick heads up, first of all I love this MOD, thanks for making it! Golurk sprite from the back, only one leg moves and there are few black pixels below him, probably not intended, just wanted to let you know if you feel like fixing it :D
