Basically what Yetto said - there are already different methods of making money that vary by knowledge/time(/effort) needed and money gained Concerning dailies/logging in: Berry farming does partly fill that niche because the main effort here is to (remember to) log in I don't think one should be rewarded for 'only' logging in without playing the game, if you even meant that (was suggested before iirc and denied because you gain something without any gameplay and it is so easily abused with alts). But I do understand that some methods feel too repetitive and therefor bore you/discourage you to play the game. Right now we do have the dungeon though, which stands for possible endgame content/a method to gain money which will be present in the future permanently (after the implementation of legendary dungeons) and I'd like to know if the dungeons work for you as an interesting way to gain money?

If you feel that you've written to elaborately, it would probably be a good idea to rephrase it in order for the suggetion to become more accessible, but I personaly don't think it would be necessary. However, one ambiguity is whether the suggestion should in fact be applied inside the GTL or outside of it. If it were outside of the GTL, those remarks/concerns made throughout the the thread apply: the 'atmospheric shift' could become clutter of chat or symbols/undermining of the (usage, limits and rules of) GTL /raised difficulty to compare 'similar' offers if shops are individual instead of centralized in the GTL and thus possibly not the best prices for buyers because of the lower competition (though it might be intended to avoid the competition from the GTL?)/possibilities of abuse, e.g. via Alts > accordingly - if we want to bring it back to an economic discussion - transaction costs would rise which is totally unfavourable If it were inside of the GTL, it could be seen additions like the ability to search for specific moves Remarks here were simply to point out that Devs are aware of further imrpovements they could make and we might simple need to continue to be patient while using the options we already have as good as we may
  7. Ok, so if I understand it correctly it becomes more like this suggestion? I'd like if improvements were possible in the GTL. Lowering the minimum listing fee of 1k might not happen to provide a money sink and also is a fee for using the convenience of the GTL instead of trade chat. What I believe would really open a new niche and be beneficial to all were 'Moves' being added to the filter system of the GTL. I then see people stuck on Route 10 in Kanto buying cheap Pokemon with flash off your hands Or a market for species with desired eggmoves - I can imagine you teaching several wild male Smeargle Curse/Wish/... in Artisan Cave, catching them and still sell them with profit even with 1k minimum fee in place. An interesting issue might be how we are able to indicate the features that did not exist in the original games to new players more easily/naturally while they are playing the game? Would be nice if they were made aware of the GTL/Gift Shop/FAQs via 'H' (maybe also with tabs for the FAQs listed in different languages)/this Forum (which is not even linked anymore int he ingame FAQs since recent years)/...
  8. Concerning the scarf, a friend of mine checked/linked his scarf last month and we then realized that it had 'seasonal', not 'limited' on it. Therefor he decided to sell it as he feared it might come back - as it did today. 'Seasonal'/'Limited' seem to be reliable to me - only issue would be if 'limited' vanities were changed into 'seasonals' I assume you don't have a screen from back when a scarf was labeled as 'limited' for you anymore?
  9. But concerning this suggestion thread: What I currently fail to see is: What is this niche exactly and why could it not exist inside the GTL? I'd prefer suggestions to improvements to the GTL itself if you think players are left out of that market, e.g.: -> suggest a lower listing fee for the GTL I don't see this suggestion happening if it aims on bypassing the limits set for trades via GTL. As Malorne said: Those rules are in place for - in my opinion good - reasons.

  13. I don't believe it is absolutely necessary to make a new thread since there are several open suggestions about banks and also others with the very same idea already denied. Maybe post in the open threads or use the closed ones as reference instead.

I have several issues regarding this - stating that the payout for higher tier berries is fine does not invalidate my concern that the payout for low tier berries might be too low. - in a scenario where the low tier berries are farmed to produce very - type - seeds (e.g Cherie berries to get very spice seeds for leppas) it would simply set you back even further as you'd have to use more of the seeds you tried to obtain Berry farming is designed as one method of creating income - just like rebattling NPCs for example. But if one out of ten beaten NPCs takes 250$ from you (as an example) and also every Pokemon that participated in the battle looses XP it is a flaw - just like a minimum of three berries seems to be. To bring this issue back to the topic: The low tier berries are the ones worth the least in marts (700$ each) and therefor would be most suited to be crafted into PP Up/Max But even at this minimum price one PP Max would cost 63k in berry powder alone. Given the effort to make these berries, it is unlikely they will ever be near their minimum price - berry farmers would be more likely to move on to berries with higher value instead, resulting in the production cost for PP Up/Max to rise further.

From the last changelog I didn't feel like this would need an own suggestion thread yet. @Kyu I realize several parameter changes took place with the last update to make berries more difficult to obtain/to make berry farming more challenging, but '3' should in my opinion not be a possible outcome for any single berry plant that does require 3 seeds to be planted. Regardless of infrequent, casual pick ups the berries themselves are the main scource for the seeds, meaning getting three berries from those plants will only give you three new seeds. I'll leave aside that expectancy for berry per plant might - regarding many plants - be 4 or more; because some will still carry 3 and therfor: After having used harvesting tools and time, any plant with a payout of three berries leaves the player with less than he started with... Why?

That was really the dark age of PokeMMO XD On topic: I don't see why PP UP/Max that would be obtained only via BPs would need to be untradeable It would affect the economoy in any case, since - as we all said - comp player are the main customers and would provide more of the supply themselves anyway thus lowering demand for any other PP UP/Max...
  17. The only argument in favour of lower future berry prices would be a larger supply. At the same time there are several arguments against it: - there is now a minimum price for berries offered by the Pokémarts, so berry prices in GTL can't go below that point - Harvesting Tool prices were increased by 40% - Seed payout per berry was reduced by 20% - the most Berry yields have been reduced by 1 berry - time for farming berries was slightly increased for anyone using Unova as the Wailmer Pail is missing So why are berries from pre update possibly overpriced? I believe it is more likely they are still below the future market price, as production costs for those were still lower than for berries grown post update. Given the risen effort - why would one person be willing to plant more or more people willing to start berry farming if the payout would be lower/ if prices for berries were about to fall? Finally, - each berry now gives not more than 1 Berry Powder being another drive for berry powder price to increase. Despite me being one of the players that don't need PP Maxes (NikhilR estimate might be right, I may have used about 4 in the last 4 years here) I am still able to see that this is a problem. Maybe reduce the amount of berry powder needed for PP Up/Max by half or remove the berry powder requirement for those items at all and add another white herb instead.
  18. That would be nice, yes. I don't think berry farming is too complicated. Maybe there are people that fear it would be to difficult, won't try it and thus continue to believe it were difficult? It is just something (more) you need to get used to and - just like breeding - are helped to do so by a guide in this forum (thanks @ShadowGary) - Maybe add an entry/link in the ingame faq to this guide, or generally again a link to the forum as before I believe the excessive amount of farming spots in Unova makes it easier for anybod willing to farm berries. Adding an equivalent to the wailmer pail would be nice to reduce the needed time to make it similar to that needed in Hoenn (unless I missed the item).

Ok, so I really haven't thought I would be back here so soon What's to learn? - Deino is really common (but I like it nonetheless) - RNG currently likes me but didn't like the idea of the nickname "Shiny Dur-Ant-hrazit" and therefor spared the world this fate - looking at the horde it becomes clear that you need to be shiny to get the girls
