Good idea

I had an idea recently for an online tournament in PokeMMO. I understand there are already competitive elements to the game but my idea differs slightly. It would be a 'Pokémon League' but using players as the elite four and champion. There could be one per region and a player could become the Champion themselves and defend their title against others. This would give a feeling of achievement for being champion rather than a part of the story, and all previous champions would be recorded in the hall of fame. The champion could select four talented trainers to be the elite four and that element would demand tactical thinking from the champion because they would eliminate challengers before they could reach the Champion. I am not sure how the developers would want to reward reigning Champions and elite four members but there could at least be something which would be inscentive to hold onto the title. Thank you for reading this, I understand people will have a lot of questions concerning this idea that I might have not covered in the above explanation, if this idea gets enough support behind it we could develop on it. Please let me know if this idea could be improved in any way as I'd love to see this in the game. Here are some questions some of you may want to ask, already answered: - What will players do who aren't strong enough to defeat the Elite Four? • They will be able to fight each other as well inside the Pokémon league, there could be a tournament for everyone else before the Elite Four. - How do I enter? • If this idea is carried through then that is up to the developers, I assume there could be something similar to a sign up on the website. - What happens if you are the Champion and you can't come online to accept challenges? • In this event, you would find a substitute Champion to fill in for you whilst you can't attend. Again, if this idea is developed on the answer to this question would be clearer Thank you very much for your time, I hope you can put some support behind this idea and give suggestions to improve it and maybe it may make it into the game.
