  1. Yes, just pm me or write me a message in game.
  2. Over two years of hunting and ~150k encounters, finally!
  3. Sinnoh Pokédex Completion Service Service: I will help you to complete your Sinnoh Pokédex by trading you all 274 Pokémons within minutes - legendaries not inclunded. Rules: You must return the Pokémons to me. Price: 90,000$ Whisper me in game (ign: Terresa) or pm me if you are interested. * I will charge less if you only require 20 Pokémons or fewer. Please note that since the last PokeMMO update, the following has changed: - Endgame Sinnoh areas are no longer restricted by the National Dex - Sinnoh's National Dex now only requires Seeing each species within its Regional Dex
  4. 1) 10 - 20 seconds (as previously stated), just enough time to cancel a listing in case you have done a mistake. 2) Yes, this is very annoying for some shiny owners. It will never say "Shiny ... joined the battle" again. 4) The Pokémons are shown at the start. It's annoying to write down the names of the enemy team. You could memorize them but it would make life easier if they are revealed at all staged of the game.
  5. 1. Introduce a 10-20 seconds countdown before an item/pokémon listing goes into the GTL. In case you missclicked (regarding the price), you have enough time to cancel the listing before it goes into the GTL. 2. The namechanger should be able to return a Pokémons original name. It's annoying, once a shiny Pokémon's name is changed, it will never be called "shiny ...." in battle again. 3. Introduce a player search bar for the pvp spectating mode so matches you are looking for can be found faster. 4. Please show the enemy Pokémons at all times during a pvp match, not only at the beginning.
  6. Since there is already a PC Expansion Ticket which costs RP, I'd think that the devs would like it as an RP item too. But as a Yen item or a free extension it would be even better. That is up for the devs to decide.

    Name Rater

Players should have the option to re-name a Pokémon to it's original name at the Name Rater in Lavender Town. Once the name of a shiny is changed, it will never be displayed as e.g. "Shiny Mr. Mime in battle ever again.
  8. Many players have a full friendlist and everytime they add someone new, a friend has to be deleted. Please introduce a Friendlist Expansion Ticket.
  9. 3 Terresa (that bat is cute and disgusting at the same time)
  10. Horde shinies lower their own value significantly but are desired for shiny breeding. Not many have the patience of spending 3-5 times as long, doing single encounters, which would discourage shiny hunting. Some horde shinies still hold a decent amount of value. As some of you already pointed out correctly, the shiny value has a lot to do with the taste of the majority of players (now asians). Shinies are no longer a secure investment since they are not limited in numbers. I might think biased due to being an ancient player from 2013 who has experienced so many different stages of the game. From catch MMO, Altering Cave, single encounter hunting... In my point of view, having a 100% encounter rate on every breedble Pokémon takes away the thrill of hunting and seems too easy (compared to finding that 5% encounter rate Pokemon in shiny). Single encountering a specific rare Pokémons is simply not worth it anymore since it takes much longer. But if by keeping the game simpler will increase the satisfaction of the majority of the playerbase, then it's the right decision I guess. However I have a different point of view.
  11. Since the developers have already taken action - by changing the catch rate of Dittos - this is a serious topic which caught their attention. Hunting any shiny has never been any simpler and for the first time it is actually possible to complete (nearly) the whole shiny Pokedéx. For example: Beldum, Eevee, Omanyte, Bulbasaur, Charmander... cost 100m or less. Before the horde of chinese entered the game, those shinies (among other shinies) were still considered special. These days they are being dumped on the market and don't even find buyers. The definition of "special" is arguable but a GTL with 600-700 shiny listings, you can follow the value loss of ultra rare shinies on a daily scale. The "I want that shiny next" mentality was non existing beforehand. Players actually had to get out and try their luck to find a rare shiny - in some cases that could take years. But now you breed for 1-3 months and you will have your shiny (still hard work but NOTHING compared of trying to find your shiny in the wild).
  12. There have been good arguments on boths sides and there is no right or wrong, only a players personal view of this situation. At the end it will be the developers decision, we can only adress the issue and play along. I am glad that some of the other points listed above, had a strong agreement. Making accusations about other players and turning this into a personal matter, is not the way to go. When it comes to the economy aspect of the game, the discussions will always become more heated. Change will always have winners and losers and there have been enough examples of this in MMO.
  13. There have been enough examples where the developers made change, even though it hurt a lot of players wealth. E.g. changes in genderless breeding, introducing hordes (rip shiny Growlithe 80m) or hidden power... This is just how the game works, not everyone can benefit off changes.
  14. I am very much aware that the economy will never be the same as it used to be (2012 - 2017). The supply of shinies is much higher then the demand and since they are not limited, it's hardly a reliable investment. Yes, limited vanity offer security for storing and increasing wealth, that is perfectly fine too. But in my point of view, this is getting out of control. Players buy 10 - 50 limited vanity, wait a couple of months/ years and have hundreds of millions (pay to win). They might as well offer 1000RP = 4,000,000$ , in the Shop, hardly makes a difference. Shinies are no longer as significant. Back in the days, 2-4 rare shinies were found each month. Now 2-4 get found each day. I have spoked to a couple of chinese players who hatch 5 boxes of eggs a day and have numerous ultra rare shinies (hard work pays off, fair enough). But the economy of the shiny market - especially for ultra rare - gets increasingly less significantly. In order to keep rare shinies special, they should really think of making it harder to obtain them. A step in the right direction was to change the catch rate of Dittos, making it more expensive to breed shittos with rares. However that hardly made an impact so far. This is only my opinion: i favouring the change in the breeding system, that a shitto with a non shiny can no longer turn out to be shiny (breeding a shiny with shiny will of course result in a shiny). Coming from a shiny collector from myself, I understand that some might feel that this thought is releated to personal interests. But I feel this issue needs to be addressed in one way or another, to keep ultra rare shinies as special as possible and not a mass-produced product. And no, I did not hatch the shiny Porygon, I got it off a chinese who hatches ultra rares shinies at a monthly rate.
  15. I have already made the post in the wishlist thread but I'd like to hear about your opinion regarding shiny breeding. Wishlist: - reduce the cost of Scyther from the game corner to 4999$ so you can get 2 Scythers in one run - ingame list of all staff members who are currently online (if staff members want privacy, there should be an invisible option) - expansion ticket of the number of friend slots available - the name changer should be able to set back the name of a Pokémon to it's original (once the name of a shiny Pokémon has been changed, it will never display e.g. "Shiny Ninetails" again and if you name it "Shiny Ninetails", it looks dumb). - breeding should no longer give you the chance of hatching a shiny, unless you breed two shinies. This is a conversational topic but I feel that shinies - especially rare shinies - should be kept special. The value of shinies is dropping significantly and the game has turned into vanityMMO.
  16. Looks really great but terrible how many shiny eevees have to be stuffed for this idea =P

    Quick Wishlist

I have a couple of wishes: - reduce the cost of Scyther from the game corner to 4999$ so you can get 2 Scythers in one run - ingame list of all staff members who are currently online (if staff members want privacy, there should be an invisible option) - expansion ticket to increase the number of friend slots available - the name changer should be able to set back the name of a Pokémon to it's original (once the name of a shiny Pokémon has been changed, it will never display e.g.
  18. Dear community, The time has come and I have decided to leave MMO for good. Back in 2012 I have started the game with a group of good friends. I have met a lot of nice players from all over the world, some whom I am still into contact with. The game has changed a lot over the years and the community has grown by miles in comparison to the early years (rip catch MMO, no breeding, no hordes...). Time is passing so quickly, it's been nearly 6 years now since my journey startet. Pokémon has always been part of growing up. Back when the Yellow Edition was released, watching my older brother catching Pokémons in Viridian forst - truley revolutionary. The joy of opening a booster pack, the smell or new cards and desire for a shiny card. MMO has offered comfort in stressful times but has also been a good distraction. But like everything in life, nothing lasts forever and for me it's time to move on. It's been a pleasure, thank you to all my friends whom I have met over the years (90% have left by now) - see you around! Terresa
  19. The main purpose of shinies is: to show off, invest in order to make profit or to expand your (OT) collection and feel proud about it. You talk so much about IV's but the vast majority of players don't care about IV's. It's the change in colour that counts, that is visible to other players. Changing the rate to 1 / 8192 (with donator status 1 / ~7373) would ruin the whole economy within a week. It would punish all the existing shiny owners, many of whom would likely leave the game. Once you completed the game, the main things you can do is pvp, hunting and trading. Ruining the economy with your idea would cause a lot of players to leave the game. We experienced a substantial increase in MMO's playerbase which already left deep scars on the economy. Super rare shinies are being found daily, which used to happen maybe 2-3 times a month, before the wave of new players joined the game. Making shinies easier to be found in the wild, would make them less attractive and much cheaper to get, meaning the "purpose of bragging" would no longer exist as much. A bit off topic, but I believe the best course of action in order to improve the economy is to lock any OT shinies, meaning they can not be traded. In order to remove the (trading)lock, the player must complete the region, where he found the shiny at(e.g. kanto, unova, hoenn). This would mean some less shiny trading and less newbies trading or listing their shiny for way too low.
  20. 15, 33, 37, 44, 49, 61, 65, 69, 102, 113, 118, 127, 129, 130, 154, 156, 177, 178, 179, 180 send you the PokeYen =)
  21. Shiny Scyther seems to be a bad omen, better not hunt that shiny.
  22. I am utterly stunned and have no words for this. You managed to get the absolute crown jewel in all of MMO. Since over 6 years of PokeMMO, you are the second player to ever manage to get a shiny Porygon. That's a very very special moment for all of MMO. How many times have I used transform with my shiny ditto, to get a glimpse of how shiny Porygon looks like. Only a fool would trade such shinies, super proud of you Oz!!
  23. As mentioned before, the current state of the economy may be beneficial to some (new) players, who can purchase items, shinies, (non perfect) comps and RP more easily. However, especially the old players who collected a lot of (genderless and HP) comps, shinies, vanity... over the years, have experienced a hughe decline in their wealth. A lot of hard work and dedication has gone down the drain, especially with the recent changes in breeding - not implying the update was all bad. Shinies are a very important aspect of the game (not for everyone of course) as they represent a symbol of achievement, attention and wealth. Too many shinies are now in circulation and they are no longer as special as they used to be. From around 90 shiny listings to close to over 400 shinies in one year is hughe. A lot of rare shinies (mr mime, jynx, kanga, skitty, relicanth, farfetch...) are no longer desired. The rarity of a shiny no longer means that the shiny is worth a decent amount. A trader nowadays, must accept a loss of 50-70% in order to sell it. On a daily basis, shinies that are worth 200m+ are found by the wave of new players. Some of those shinies have not been found in months/years. Slowly the super rare and desired shinies are also losing in significance. The demand is simply no as high anymore and shinies (some faster then others) lose that symbol of achievement, attention and wealth. It's hard to imagine how many shinies would be in circulation, if shiny breeding wouldn't exist. That was one solid attempt to lower the amount of shinies which exist in MMO. In my opinion, a fair way to prevent more shiny dumping is to put a ribbon on each caught OT shiny from now on. This ribbon would act similar to a "gift ribbon". However, the player has the oppertunity to get rid of the ribbon, if he manages to complete all the regions. At least it would give unexpirenced players time to inform themselves of the actual value, rather then linking it in chat and getting confronted by numerous players (I am no saint myself). Less shinies would be listed in GTL overtime (unless another wave joins MMO) as the player is forced to finish all regions before being able to trade/list it. Just a random info, but for the first time, MMO will experience the 100,000th GTL listing. The amount of GTL listings gives a very rough idea of the growth, of the playerbase.
  24. At least 100,000 Lava Cookies or no deal! Flare helped me out and gave his 4x31 male Primeape and 2x31 male Nidoran to me. A 3x31 breed turned out to be 5x31 twice
