  1. And not a real problem with that story-wise. The game doesn't need to go hard mode on players until after they beat the 3 storylines. All that does is discourage them to where the potential exists where they just quit. Post-game trainers in vanilla games actually have pretty decent AI. I refer to the ones that you see in Battle Frontier, Battle Tree, etc. They aren't easy to beat and they actually do switch out.
  2. A charm similar to the Riches and Item Magnet Charm. Except it doubles the catch rate of the Pokemon/doubles the catch multiplier of the ball used.
  3. RIP to Berry Farmers after the update
  4. Not true. There does exist AI in the vanilla games. Ex: In R/B/Y, the AI was made so opposing trainers(or at least Gym/E4) chose moves that were super effective against your own Pokémon (in fact, there’s a whole video about getting yourself into a softlock against Lorelei with a primeape that only knows rage)
  5. although that is true, that isn't exactly my point my point being, if you get that 1/30k and it's wasted on Mewtwo/Rayquaza, it's one of the biggest trolls since you can't keep it.
  6. Since we aren't able to keep Mewtwo or Rayquaza, even if they're shiny, it would be better just to shiny lock them Because it'd be a really big troll if your 1/30k luck was wasted on a king-of-the-hill Pokemon that you would lose 5 minutes later.
  7. and again, you don't get to keep it beyond N and Ghetsis battles. So there's no real point in making it hard to catch especially since you don't get to keep it forever. So making it 100% catch would be a great idea
  8. I don't know whether this thread belongs in Competitive Alley or Suggestion Box, so it's 50/50. With all the flow of new Pokemon and especially Sinnoh, simply getting to the point; unban Baton Pass. It was an unnecessary ban to begin with and it would easily make PvP much more interesting.
  9. Humurous. On one end, Gyms/E4 rewards keep getting completely nerfed. But no, we aren't allowed to have any legendaries that could make these battles easier since it'd "break" the game. Even though, again, Gym/E4 rematch rewards are most likely gonna be nerfed again more times anyways.
  10. And thus, the Shiny Gods said, "Let us make the shiny rate fair to our young friend Bolt"
  11. So Gym rewards got nerfed? Again?
  12. Ever since this update, everything has significantly lost value. Such as Leftovers due to making Berry Forest Snorlax lvl 30, and thus unable to repel trick. And I’ve paid attention to the Leftovers price on GTL. They haven’t increased like you said they would. They got lower and less entries at that. But the #1 loss of value was the Lucky Egg. It used to be priced at 1-2mill an egg. Now that they are consumable, the whole market has gone awry as people see their lucky eggs that they worked so hard to get are worth next to nothing compared to how they used to. Without going much into the subject to prevent completely derailing the subject. At the current rate, a certain “power creep”(hint, hint) or nerf/making Gym/E4 rematches easier wouldn’t affect the economy at all. Since odds are, in the future, Gym/E4 rewards will get nerfed anyways. Even if it does, everyone would get over it in a month, like you and the other mods are saying people will after this update.
  13. Another happy customer. Thank you @Spxter for participating in my training program. I await our next customer.
  14. Bulbasaur Freshly caught off Berry Forest 30 ivs in Special Attack and Special Defense Not to mention also female. Mild nature for those who are curious Anyone able to price check?
  15. @Spxter Your Umbreon and Flareon have been sent to you via mail, Lvl 100, Fully Trained, and Movesets the way you requested. Pleasure doing business.
  16. If you're able to make it past the points of Sky Pillar/Cerulean Cave, be it skill or luck, and are able to make it to a nearby Gym or(if you're really lucky/skilled) the E4, would you be able to take on the E4/Gym with Mewtwo/Rayquaza? (and if not, couldn't the devs just let us have perma-keep Uber legends with similar restrictions?)
  17. The current makes legendaries merely dex entries. And once people get that dex entry, they’re done with it. Allowing people to keep them would make them how they were meant to be, powerful Pokémon to own. But again, we don’t have dungeons yet, let alone Sinnoh. This particular topic will definitely return when dungeons become significantly closer. And depending on the nerfs/balances between now and dungeons, making Gym/E4 rematches more manageable with legendaries wouldn’t be a negative
  18. *UPDATE* Service readjustment: If you pay to get your Pokemon leveled up, you can get that same Pokemon EV trained absolutely free
  19. It’s alright. And yes, 100k will be level up cost. Go ahead and send your snorlax and it’ll be ready within 3 days
  20. They already confirmed no Kalos, Alola, or Gen 6
  21. Could’ve been better, could’ve been worse, thanks for asking. However, there are some points that I must disagree with. While inflation in the Gym/E4 would potentially create some troubles regarding economy, there are a few factors in play that I could see being applied onto Ubers, should they ever be able to perma-keep: - While yes, the games were easier to beat with Ubers, at the same time you were up against rather potato AI. It’s been proven here that that is not the case here. As NPCs can supposedly read your moveset without having to expose it entirely and know when to switch out. And the Gyms/E4s have pretty advanced teams compared to their vanilla counterparts. Such as Erika with a Dragonite or Brock with Ludicolo. - A majority of the Uber legends were not made available in the game until after the main story. Such as Kyurem in B/W, or Rayquaza in Ruby and Sapphire. So if dungeons are post content, it would fix the problem of destroying story mode. - In the main games, the level cap of Gyms/E4 rematches goes up only to lvl 60-70. Here, it goes up to 80-100. So it’s not like you can one shot every Pokémon like you may have been able to in the main games. - Say you were able to get Mewtwo/Rayquaza to the Gym or E4, you’re still prevented from using it in them. Couldn’t they simply prevent Ubers from being used in Gym/E4? (I mean, I personally wouldn’t. Since in most games, I like using kyogre as an hm slave) Those are my points, which I hope you could look over.
  22. Air Balloon Tyranitar + Sand Force Life Orb Excadrill
  23. You all are acting like allowing access to Ubers is equivalent to giving us a "Press this button to win every fight" button, which I tell you is NOT the case at all. Points being: 1. If the AI is just as advanced as I hear, they know of the moveset your Uber has without you having to completely expose it and thus can switch if need to. And since levels are roughly equivalent to the players at max(80-100), then at that point, the opponent can outspeed a few of the Ubers depending on what you're using and what they are. 2. Whether it be MMO or in the main games, you cannot beat the E4/Champion with just an Uber. You can't beat Cynthia by just using your Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. You can't beat Ghetsis and Alder using just your Zekrom/Reshiram. 3. Just because it's Uber doesn't mean it can one-shot everything that isn't an Uber. They have just as many weaknesses as they do strengths and can easily be taken down with the right moves and tactics. 4. There's nothing wrong with making certain tasks(Gym/E4 rematches) a bit easier. And before you say that it'd make the older playerbase all pissed since the achievements they did suddenly become easier for the newer generation, games, including MMOs, do this A LOT. And even then, there can easily be set perimeters to discourage Uber use, such as reduced rewards from E4/Gym if you use certain legendaries. That way, even though the option would technically be available for you to spam that Water Spout Kyogre, you would get much less reward out of it as opposed to if you were to use actual tactics.
  24. I meant that they eventually got to shiny locking elfbots. And if Mew2, Zekrom, and Ray continue to be non perma keep, they should also be shiny locked
