For those of you who don't know, a grab bag booth is basically a place where mystery prizes are sold, usually inside of paper bags. For example, you buy one for $2 and you could get anything from a $.25 plastic toy to a $15 gift card or something - prizes change depending on the price the booth charges for bags. How this would work in Pokemmo: Players can buy a bag (or possibly a TM grab bag, item grab bag, pokemon grab bag, and so on) and receive a random TM/item/Pokemon. Drop rates could be adjusted for rarer stuff. By charging an arm and a leg for it (say, $100,000 pokedollars or something) it could be an effective moneysink, and could also bring some value to money. Players could get fossil pokemon and eevees and such from grab bags, but could also get magikarps and caterpies and crap like that. Could also be a way to implement legendaries at obscenely low rates in the future, but I don't want to start an argument so I'll ignore that for now. Could also award a random TM/item, or have TM/item grab bags available for a different price than pokemon grab bags. If you flame this thread, I will post in comic sans on all of your threads

Yes i am talking about the PokeRadar from Gen 4, no i am not talking about chaining. I did search for this topic (https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/597-poke-radar-implementation) But i am not talking about chaining the pokemon. (Also if the devs already know a way to place in all the pokemon that have not been placed in yet, might as well ignore) If the devs HAVEN'T found a good way to implement pokemon that have not been implemented yet, here is a solution! Create the something similar to the pokeradar where the grass would shake once used, but don't add the chaining part to it. Basically, once someone has defeated the elite 4, a NPC can give them a PokeRadar which can be used all over Kano to catch pokemon that are not able to be caught in the game yet. For example, I can go back to viridian forest, use the pokeradar, walk into a shaken grass have the chance to find a catepie, weedle, pikachu or a Wurmple. But DON'T add chaining, Shiny pokemon should still be as rare as they are now, This pokeradar should only be used to find pokemon from other regions. Thoughts?

Like the title said I was thinking of letting us have the option to lock the slots in our PC boxes like this: [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/xhdokRg.png[/img][/center] For what purpose you ask?[list] [*]Lets say you want to dedicate a box for Competitive Pokemon only. Isn't it annoying when the empty slots of your PC get filled up everytime you catch new Pokemon from the Wild? By locking the boxes prior to catching new Pokemon, the slots in a box which you locked won't get filled up! You can unlock a slot at anytime and add any Pokemon you want to add in that slot! [/list] Pros: ~ Saves time. ~ Creates less hassle. ~ More flexible and easy to manage rather than having to release Pokemon to clean up a box. Cons: ~ None. Edit: -There also is an option to lock a whole box at one time without having to lock all the slots one by one. - A locked slot would be Auto unlocked if you catch a Pokemon and a message would be displayed: "You have run out of room, check your PC in the Future"

I know that for some people (most of us in this case), we want to find pokemon that has the nature and the IVs that we are looking for. But in the end, you just end up with ton of pokemon in the storage. So why not make a setting where you can if you want, release it after you checked it stats? It would be a time saver. And if someone already pointed this out, then sorry, didn't find any topic with it.

Well like the title said, this is my suggestion: You are given the option to 'mark' a Pokemon after you capture them like how it is depicted in the image below. [img]http://i.imgur.com/QPKeRM2.jpg[/img] This would be helpful because when you are farming for Pokemon and you found one/many which has potential, you can 'mark' them and then it will be easier to find them when you are searching through your boxes. Simple suggestion: Make a hotkey to release Pokémon in the PC Boxes. Ctrl+rightclick releases the Pokémon or something. Shouldn't be that hard to implement? Oh and make a checkbox in the PC (or in 'Option's) so people won't accidentally release their shiny or 'God IV'd' Pokémon. [b]Note[/b]: Yes similair things have been suggested before, (release at catch) but you probably can script bots to stat-check and then release it, if the IV's are bad. If you find a good IV'd+natured Pokémon just run back to your PC and set it apart from the rest so you won't wipe it. Pros: - Faster - Less tedious Cons: - If you\re not careful you can release a good Pokémon accidentally [b](CHECKBOX)[/b]

I thought it would be cool to have a park where you can have your entire team of Pokemon roam freely (Instead of just the one that is behind you), interacting with themselves and with other players' Pokemon. Through this, there can be new minigames/activities, such as Pokemon races(Air, Land, and Water), Hide-and-Go-Seek, Capture the Flag, etc. It would be cool to see people showing off their Pokemon to their friends, swimming with their Pokemon, and maybe even going underwater through the diving system (Find items?). The base system from Gen 3 could also be utilized here; teams having their own territories and such (turf wars?).

1.I am big fan of fire red series but i think they should make a way to play this only using a keyboard i know there is hotkeys and shortcuts but there is no way to open a pokemon party information, control the bag with keys or just go to settings. 2. (already suggested) 3.I would love to have the thing when you use the potion, the pokemon party pops up, but the party doesn't close when you use the potion once or twice it would stay until you are out of potions or you could just exist. Sorry for english btw.

So therefore, I thought: "Why not just include an [color=#ff0000]in-game counter[/color] that allows a player to see the number of Pokemon they encountered (number can be reset to 0)? Make it cost [color=#008000]1,000,000[/color] [color=#008000]PokeDollars[/color] in the Celadon Department Store for all I care, just include it!" It wouldn't be a problem to impliment, just set up sections for:[list] [*]Pokemon Type encountered (Single Pokemon Type) [*]Total Pokemon Encountered (All Pokemon) [*]Safari Counter (Safari Zone Pokemon Only) [/list] Comments would be appreciated.

Introduction The first game I ever remember getting was Pokemon Yellow for the original Gameboy™. If memory serves, it even came with the legendary yellow version of that awesome handheld console. Clearly, times have moved on, and over time, I became rusty and lost my passion for this amazing series. Upon starting PokeMMO, I had no idea what to do in Pallet Town, even though I must have done the same thing a hundred times before on my little old Gameboy™. So, this guide is dedicated to those of us who havn't played in a while, or might even be completely new to the series, and want to begin playing as quickly and painlessly as possible. Guide We begin in our hero's bedroom in Pallet Town. I assume you've chosen the name Ziggy Stardust for your character. If you havn't, go back and start again. How could your first thought be anything other than Ziggy Stardust? Now that your hero is correctly named, proceed directly out of Pallet Town. Ignore the fact that you're told Oak is waiting next door. He will only present himself to you when you attempt to leave the Town. He will drag you back to his lab, where he will proceed to perform hideous experiments upon you. Just kidding, he gives you your very own Pokemon, from a selection of three. Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charizard. I suggest selecting Charizard, because who wants to have SOUPERDOOPER VINE POWERS or WATERY POWERS. All the effectiveness of taking a whizz on your opponent, when you could be rocking a mother****ing DRAGON up in this place. Now, your rival will throw a tantrum when you attempt to leave and fight you. Clearly, you should whoop his ass and make him cry like a hussy. Upon doing so, he'll throw a uguufit. From here, simply head on out of town and go level up that Pokemon of yours! Once you've had fun whaling on rats and chickens, head up to the Viridian City, and visit the Pokecenter to heal up your likely bruised and battered Pokemon, before moving on to the Pokemart. Here, you'll enter a scripted sequence and acquire a package for Oak. Immediately take it back to Oak, and you'll recieve a Pokedex and five free Pokeballs! Hooray for free stuph! Your rival will throw another fit of angst and run home to get a map. Simply leave the lab, go to the building North of the lab and collect a map from the girl in the building. Congratulations! You've started playing Pokemon! Enjoy your new non-existant life style! Have fun! -Kingsley

Remember the Cafeteria in Celadon? They have been ignoring the sale of food to people for quite some time now. Therefore, I believe we should have them sell food-based items. For example, different types of [b]stat-boosting teas[/b]: [u][b]Green Dragon Tea[/b][/u][list] [*][u][b][/b][/u]Gives an attack buff to a single Pokemon in battle. (2x if against a Dragon) [/list] [b][u]Jasmine Tea[/u][/b][list] [*]When used, it reproduces the effects the move "Sweet Scent" at a weakened rate. [/list] [u][b]Lemongrass Tea[/b][/u][list] [*]The sour flavor of the tea gives the Trainer an increase in movement speed for 5 minutes. [/list] Also [b]Soups:[/b] [b][u]Tomato Soup[/u][/b][list] [*]This soup would allow a person to heal a single Pokemon using a out-of-battle absorption method. The more you walk, the more your Pokemon heals. Lasts for 500 steps. [/list] Things like that would allow the Celadon Cafe to become popular again, and keep in business.

Hola mi nombre es Mighter, he visto muchas dudas dentro del juego, no dudas del servidor, modo de juego o del programa, si no que dudas directas acerca de los pokemons. Es por eso que he decidido hacer estas Mini-Guías/Clases. Una de las dudas/preguntas que más me llamó la atención fue por que la gente busca tanto un Pokemón con cierta naturaleza específica. Y aqui nace la pregunta.. ¿Cual es la mejor naturaleza para mi Pokemón?... lo gracioso es que no lo se.. pues no se cual es tu Pokemón pero si se cuales naturalezas hay y por qué son importantes, y por supuesto en que influyen. Cada Pokémon posee una naturaleza distinta de otro. Esta naturaleza "Distinta" hace y marca la diferencia entre 2 Pokemones iguales, de mismo nivel pero distinta naturaleza. En total, un Pokémon puede pertenecer a 25 naturalezas diferentes: Las naturalezas de los Pokémon afectan principalmente al crecimiento de sus habilidades (Ataque, Defensa, Velocidad, etc). Dependiendo de su naturaleza, el Pokémon desarrollará más una habilidad que otra que es lo que hace el tema de la naturaleza importante, hay naturalezas que son neutras, y estas no tienen efecto alguno sobre estas características, es decir, no aumentan ni disminuyen ninguna característica. Aqui esta la tabla de Naturaleza - Carácteristicas Bueno, espero que les haya gustado este "Tip", para la captura de pokemones y entrenamiento. quizás creas ridículo este post pero creeme a muchos les servirá. Competitive Battling is starting to become big here on PokeMMO, but, we still do not have an official ranking system. I'm here to suggest a complete ranking system which will be used for all players and maybe even in the future, teams. To implement this ranking system, I would need complete compliance with the staff in using this ranking system, as it involves the forums heavily. The good thing is that no work has to be done on the server itself, allowing for the coders to work on more important aspects of the game itself. So, I introduce to you.... "The PokeMMO Trainer's League" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Registration: To begin, all trainers who wish to battle competitively must be registered on the forums. This will allow the tracking of users' wins and losses much more efficiently. All trainers will begin in "F-Class". This is the lowest class in the ranking system seen here: There are two different ways to increase your ranking within the "Basic Classes", these are seen here: Win 3 consecutive battles against trainers of same class Win 1 battle against a higher ranked trainer To organize a ranked battle, trainer must use the following method(s): Posting a Notice on the "Competitive Alley" Sub-forum that you are looking for challengers Replying to another trainers posting Also, trainers who lose 3 consecutive battles will also rank down in class if they're higher than F-Class. All battles must be reported to the "Competitive Alley" sub-forum, for them to count as a victory for the trainer to Rank up. Also Video Recording or taking pictures of your battle is highly recommended so that any disputes or complaints can be argued with evidence. The implementation of video recordings and pictures also allows new trainers to see what battling in the league is like! Player's can only reach "C-class" based on wins alone. To be entered into the advanced classes of B, A, and Special-A, you must have participated in a total of 50 battles while you are currently in C-class. To advance from B>A>Special-A, players will have to use the following methods: Win five (5) consecutive battles against trainers of same class Win ten (10) consecutive battles against trainers of the class immediately below you Defeat a trainer who is ranked higher than you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "PokeMMO Player's League Championship" There is a reason why trainers aspire to become at least "B-Class". Those who are, and ranked higher, are eligible to enter in the biggest tournament of the year, with Pokemon, and potentially money up for grabs. The tournament would be open to any and all who are "B-Class" and above. There will be rules/guidelines, but those would be detailed at a later time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Having an official ranking system would be beneficial for the game, and the players as a whole.
