Hey, Australia! If your starters have always water types, thumbs down up. Especially Squirtle, my first was him as well. It was like love at first sight. I'm not going in to one of my long, boring speeches about how amazing Squirtle is, but it's just cool. I trained him all the way up to Level 100, and I've played Fire Red hundreds of times, and still, no shiny. Eh well.
