The normal way of fast travel through pokemon is by flying to the destination. However, you are only allowed fast traveling to major cities and locations. What I propose is a waypoint like system where you can set a waypoint to wherever you would like on the map, as long as you have been to that location.
As a use case, I am shiny hunting/training in Fuego Ironworks. However, the constant back and forth from pokecenter to Fuego Ironworks is annoying and time consuming. If there was a way to have a waypoint to a specific location in Fuego Ironworks, it would be less of a drag to train/shunt. Ultimately, it saves time.
For this to work properly, there should be some marker (runway for flying pokemon, shrine that teleports, some sort of button) that you would have to stand on to activate the waypoint. Once it is activated, you can fly to that location. To balance this so that there is a lower possibility of exploitation, I suppose you could only have a certain amount of locations active at a time. If the user hits the limit, they are prompted to turn off an already active location.
