So I've been playing PokeMMO for a while now, and I must say the way legendries work is very interesting and unique. I enjoy these strong Pokemon only belonging to 1 person at a time, because there is canonically supposed to be only 1. With that being said, I miss the legendary grind and want to see it back in some way shape or form. What I am specifically suggesting is this. SOME legendaries work the way they currently do, while others are encounterable in their normal spots. The pokemon that are contested should be the strong box legendaries, while the smaller sub-legendaries should be able to be caught by everyone.
If you think having all of the bottom legendries is OP, just limit the amount they can have at any given point (1 per trio, 1 entire trio, or just any combo of 5 or whatever number you come up with) and they have to release their current ones to get new ones (Elite Four resets encounter).
Pokemon that should be contested and only one person can have:
The Mew Duo
The Tower Duo (If Johto gets added)
The Elemental Trio (+ Regigigas)
The Creation Trio (+ Arceus)
The Tao Trio (+ Keldeo)
Pokemon that EVERYONE should catch and functions like they did in their respective games (whether they are in a specific spot or a roaming legendary)
The Legendary Birds
The Legendary Dogs (If Johto gets added)
The Regis (Not Regigigas)
The Latis
The Lake Trio
The Swords Of Justice (not Keldeo)
The Genie Trio
The reason I want this is because catching legendaries is super fun, and making them rare and limiting them to one person makes it largely frustrating to get one. This method could keep balance and allow us legendary hunters to have some fun.
