help farming rates

This morning I have armed myself with 2 magnet amulets, a stack of zanamas, half a liter of coffee and infinite patience and I have gone to farm eternal stones for my breeds, after 4 hours and a cerebral embolism I have obtained 5 stones.... and I I wonder, how is it possible that in the gtl there are people selling stacks of 99 daily, statistically speaking these amounts are humanly impossible, what am I doing wrong? Is there any object apart from the magnet amulet that increases the rates?

The best way to obtain eternal stones is thiefting boldore hordes in unova, pickup is not efficient, rock smashing is now trash

i did the geodude thing using banette, ty for the advice i will try boldore hordes ty mate

I think the amulet magnet is to increase the pickup rate, not for increase the wild pokemon carry items.
