It is something simple but it would add a lot to the competitive and more specifically to Team building. Mints were introduced in the eighth generation and allow you to change the nature of a Pokemon that would make team building easier although it is just one less inconvenience when creating a team.

To be fair, a similar value could be placed on mints that prismatic pearls carry. In this case I would say you could trade in a shiny pokemon of the same species/egg group to get a mint for that species/egg group. Otherwise I don't see this being possible within the economy.
