Shiny OT Breeding Guide

You have to breed Shiny with Shiny to get Shiny egg.

The game will not allow you to breed a Shiny with a non-Shiny.

Breeding a Shiny with Secret Shiny will make a Secret Shiny egg regardless of OT.

 

The combination to keep OT on your shiny egg will be :

• Male non OT + Female OT

• Male OT + Female non OT of the same evolution line

• Male OT / Female OT + Ditto

 

Other than that combinations, the egg will be Unknown OT.

Breeding Male OT + Female OT / Ditto OT will always results in OT egg.

Breeding Genderless OT species other than Ditto will produce OT egg.

Here's the short explanation : OT shiny egg cannot cross species with the parent.

Q : How to add Hidden Ability to my shinies?

A : You can provide/buy a Pokémon that has same evolution line with your shiny and 3 Prismatic Pearls. You can use the Prismatic Pearls to transfer Hidden Ability to your shiny.

Q : I already breed my OT shiny to Unknown OT, how do I revert it back?

A : There's no way to get your OT back once it become Unknown OT.

 

Q : If I breed 2 non-shiny Pokémon and the egg turned to shiny, will the shiny egg become my OT?

A : As long as you have Caught OT dex on the egg species (green-colored square in Pokédex), the egg will become your OT. Otherwise, it will become OT* and it is considered as Unknown OT.

 

 

 

Hidden Ability (HA) Breeding Guide

Breeding an Alpha with Alpha will give you Alpha egg.

Breeding an Alpha with non-Alpha will give you non-Alpha egg.

 

The combination to inherit Hidden Ability (HA) to your egg will be :

• Male non HA + Female HA

• Male HA + Female non HA of the same evolution line

• Male HA / Female HA + Ditto

 

Other than that combinations, the egg will not have HA.

Breeding Male HA + Female HA / Ditto HA will always inherit HA to the egg.

Breeding Genderless HA species other than Ditto will inherit HA to the egg.

Ditto with HA cannot give HA to non-HA species in breeding.

Q : Where to catch a Pokémon with Hidden Ability?

A : Currently, you can only catch a Pokémon with Hidden Ability on wild Alpha swarms. Wild alpha is guaranteed Hidden Ability unlocked and 3 normal Pokémon around the alpha will have a chance of having Hidden Ability unlocked.

 

Q : I already a perfect 6x31 natured Pokémon and I want to unlock its Hidden Ability. How to unlock it?

A : You can provide/buy a Pokémon that has same evolution line with your Pokémon and 1 Prismatic Pearls. You can use the Prismatic Pearls to transfer Hidden Ability to your Pokémon.

Q : Can I use Ability Pills to change my Pokémon's normal ability to Hidden Ability?

A : Ability Pills is used to change ability, not to unlock. If your Pokémon have Hidden Ability unlocked already, you can use Ability Pills to change its ability to normal and to Hidden, vica-versa. But you still need a Prismatic Pearl to unlock the Hidden Ability if it's not unlocked yet. To see if your pokemon Hidden Ability is unlocked or not, you can open your Pokémon's summary and look the diamond icon at the top-right.

Q : How to unlock Hidden Ability on my starter Pokémon?

A : You can use Ability Patch (Fire/Water/Grass) to unlock Hidden Ability on your starter Pokémon. You can obtain it by clearing regional caught OT dex, or you can also buy one from Global Trade Link. Note that Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken Hidden Ability (Speed Boost) is not available in this game.

I would like to ask you something.. If I want to breed a non-sex (example: Shiny Magnemite Unknown OT + Shiny Ditto OT, if this combination result into a Shiny Magnemite OT?
