Max Selling Prices for items on the GTL, how it works?

I can't sell an Escape Rope for more then 887

 

Nor can I sell a Hyper Potion for more then 1360

 

But I can sell a Sharp Beak for at most 20,000,000

 

Still, the prices can go up to 2,000,000,000 if I'm not mistaken. So what dictates what's the max price for each item on the GTL? If anyone knows the answer please share below. Thank you!

I think the Items you can buy in the supermarket got a "max price" now. Honestly if you´re to lazy to go to the supermarket, you deserve the little overpay haha

 

all the other items you can get through pickup, thief etc depends on offer and demand so there cant be any regulation
