Help in accessing top section on mobile when on calls

If I'm playing PokeMMO on mobile and a calls comes I'm unable to tap on the top section as notification bar becomes visible which doesn't go away.

So basically I cannot tap on X to close the box and get stuck. Cannot tap on B1, B2, etc on the top row either.

Similarly if I tap on chat icon and open it, then I get stuck again cause the X becomes inaccessible.

 

Someone else facing this issue or has a solution ?

try tapping the back arrow on the edge of the phone to close chat/pc
