Because these are the OFFICIAL tournaments held by the actual PokeMMO Staff themselves. Competition Alley is meant for player-run tournys.

Well grats to Plague.It was great fun n I really look forward to the next nfe tourn. However, I want to state that dragonair + dragon rage is plain cheap. 40 dmg every turn at lvl 30 is way too much imo. Every one was running it, and it kind of ruined to fun of the competition. It would have been way more interesting without that move

Pretty much yes. There was a lot of trolls though in Round 1, and some didn't even have their Pokemon to level 30. Some were 19-27. It was kind of... bad to see so many unprepared people.
