Gastly with Hypnosis

I'm trying to get my hands on a Gastly (or anything in the evolutionary line) that has hypnosis.  Everywhere I look, though, I do not see any with hypnosis, but Bulbapedia states that Gastly knows hypnosis at level one in literally every generation.  I am confused?

It seems like wild ones have Hypnosis overwritten by moves learned after it. You may be able to get Hypnosis on it through the move relearner.
