    In celebration of the team being together for our 1st year we are going to be catching the PUREST pokemon. We all start our journeys with a PURE 6x15 pokemon so today we will be looking to catch the pokemon with IVs as close to that as possible. Points scored will be decided by counting every IV FROM 15, for example: Pokemon 1 is - 12, 15, 15, 15, 15, 17 this pokemon would be 5 points. Pokemon 2 is 10, 20, 15, 15, 15, 15 this pokemon would be 10 points. PLEASE CHECK THE EVENT TIME IN DISCORD In our server up the top where it says 'Team PURE Official' click the event to get the time and date for your timezone.     Introducing Shiny Bounties starting this September! Bounties will allow you to earn rewards by hunting specific shiny Pokémon. One bounty per Pokemon: Pokemon are checked off for the month once a player finds it. Rewards and number of bounties will be based on the rarity of the Pokemons for the month. Event Details: Start Date: September 1st - 12AM EST End Date: October 1st - 12AM EST Rules: - Pokemon are checked off after the first person gets them - All Pokémon must be caught within the event time. - Submissions must include a screenshot of the OT tab, and the Time tab. - Link your entry to participating staff upon request. - Rewards will be given to the player at the end of the month. Bounties for September: There are a total of 10 bounties available for September with each one being 300,000 Pokeyen. You may hunt any Pokemon from the list given below to claim the bounty.     Ladies, Gentlemen and Trainers of all Identities, I would like to formally announce the first (of hopefully many) Wildcard Event! These events will be unique, in that they will not be held within Pokemmo itself, allowing for not only the Pokemmo Veterans among us, but the Pokemmo Newcomers, to take part in in the action, with no risk of resources lost, but with all the sweet sweet prizing you've come to love. The contents of the events will change from time to time, but some may be revisited, if the community so desires! For our inaugural contest, we will be shedding our title of Trainer, and partnering up with one very special monster of our choice, before battling it out to become the number one Tamer! Team PURE, I hope your deckbuilding skills are up to the test, for the Digital Gate has opened. I welcome you all to the Team PURE Digimon TCG Wildcard Event! First and Foremost, Entrance Fees and Prizing Entry - $50,000 (8 Player Minimum - No Maximum) - Mail to AverageMann In Game, with a Deck List in mail - Will show off how to If player count is not met, all entrance fees Will Be Refunded In Full! 1st - 1000 Leppa Berries / 1 Shiny Charm / 15 Days Donator Status 2nd - 750 Leppa Berries / 1 Shiny Charm / 7 Days Donator Status 3rd - 500 Leppa Berries / 1 Shiny Charm 4th - 250 Leppa Berries / 1 Riches Charm (+100%) Most Fun Deck - Special Prizing (Be it unique, something quirky, or a fun meme) Donations Always Welcome - Will Be Divided Accordingly! Format The rounds will be a simple Best of 3, knockout format, with Top 4 receiving prizing. Tamers are free to discuss, practice and theory craft as they wish. Games typically take 1 hour to complete All 3 Rounds, as such, rounds will be held at paired players' convenience and will have up to 1 week to discuss when to best meet and play. If players are unable to commit to a time, then said players may face Disqualification. All I ask is I be informed to watch over the games! (this is best done via stream on discord). Deadline Due to the nature of this event, there will be a deadline in place! Players have until 26/08/2024 - 12PM (GMT) to enter, and the first pairings will be released the next day. This deadline is sadly NOT flexible. Information Now, to address the Phanpy/Elephantmon in the room. The Digimon TCG is extremely small scale compared to the big 3 (Yu-Gi-Oh, MTG, Pokemon) and some of you, if not all, will not not know how the game is played, or possess the means to even play it. Listed Below will be a link to the Game Rules along with other useful resources that I strongly encourage the use of. Not only this, I am happy to host what are essentially classes to learn the game, as it may seem complex at first, but turns out to be rather simple. As I said, this is hopefully the first of many Wildcard Events, and player count will be a factor in this format at times. Even if a TCG isn't your style, there may be many more games involved, and who knows, one of them might just be your specialty. TCG Deck Building A deck list must be submitted prior to event start, this is best done in the mail sent with the entrance fee. Linked below with all the resources is Project Drasil, the website we will be using to play the games, which has a very easy to use deck builder, along with a Deck List Exporter (pictured Below), simply select 'Text' and 'Export', copy the list, and paste in mail. This will automatically list the deck for you, with set labelling. Decks may only contain 4 of any one card, unless stated otherwise by a card itself, or by the limited card list (linked below). Decks must contain 50 cards, along with up to 5 cards in the 'Egg Deck', which will contain only egg cards. These also follow the 4 card limit. Digimon cards all have a COLOUR associated with them, indicating a general playstyle. These colours can be mixed and matched, so long as the cards have a way to interact with each other, so feel free to go wild! For this event, cards only up to the BT16/EX6 Format will be legal. if the number is higher, it will not be usable for this format. If you are unsure, feel free to ask! If any cards within your list are Not Legal, you will be given fair notice to make any necessary changes. Tips When I first began playing, I found it very beneficial to start from the boss Digimon, and work backwards. Deck building methods are different for all player of course, but Digimon is extremely free flow, and can have many ways to build a single Digimon, or have a single engine work for many boss Digimon. There's no shame in experimenting. Never be scared to ask questions. there are many ways for games to go, and cards can interact in very strange ways. never be scared to ask. a single card can change decks. Talk! Find a Digimon you think looks cool, but doesn't suit your playstyle? talk about it! Someone may have found a card of that same Digimon that does something different that fits you perfectly! Have fun. Competition may be all about winning, but we are all partners in shine (a play on crime because shinies sparkle) at the end of the day, so fun should be the first thing to prioritize.     ✨ Team Pure Shiny War 2.0 ✨ ✨ Its that time again ✨ ✨ Event Details: Shiny wars is a group style event where we will draft 3 teams to compete against each other. The objective is to get as many shinies as you can for both the team you're on and for yourself😉 We have chosen to do a full month war this time. ✨ Rules: You must be a member of Team Pure to register and participate You must register before the 20th of June 00:01am (AEST) All participants must pay a registration fee of $500,000 to be drafted into a team (all fees will be part of the prize pool) At the end of the event the registration fees will be distributed evenly among the players of the winning team Any extra donations are voluntary and greatly appreciated, all donations will go towards the individual prize pool If there happens to be a tie when the event ends, a sudden death match will begin. The first team to score ANY points will win! We don't want you to have to publish your application publicly, we can keep it private. We strongly suggest discord of these options (if you're seeing this), as it will be the easiest way for both you and us. When you contact us, please give us 2 things: -A screenshot of your trainer card (for us to see your hours played and IGN) -Screenshot(s) of any shinies you currently have. Feel free to also include a message of shinies you no longer have. Q/A: Q: I don't have a shiny or 300 hours, but am actively shunting and/or close to 300 hours. Can I still join? A: Feel free to apply. Our join requirements are more of a suggestion that a requirement, and we'll fairly evaluate you ourselves. Just be open to contact in some form. Q: Are there any requirements I have to uphold after joining, such as activity requirements? A: If you're offline for a while and perform no contact with us, you may be removed. Otherwise, there's no active requirements once you join, no. There's one small exception. If you regularly join shiny charms, we ask you contribute your own charms occasionally, for the sake of mutual benefit and fairness. We will always prioritize less active members in-game but active members in the team community. Q: Are there any special rules for the team? A: Kind of. We don't require "activity updates", but we do ask that you be somewhat social on the team, not exclusively a lurker. If you're joining a team for an occasional charm, global chat already has that. If you're looking for a place to hang out with people that share a common goal, that's what a team's for.

    Karu's "A Colorful Fight to the Finish" Double Event Extravaganza In honor of my Red guide releasing, I'll be hosting 2 events. Both are themed around the Red guide, involving aspects from catch events, pvp, and game knowledge. I hope you're ready... It's time to fight. NOTE: TIME & DATE TBD Event 1: "To Counter the Counter" Current Prize Pool: ¥3.5m In this event, players will engage in a battle against time to put together a team that can fight members of my Red Strategies. You will have 90 minutes to catch, train, and breed up a team. Afterwards, you fight me. If you WIN, you're in the prize pot. If you lose, you're out. After all participants have finished their fight, we enter DOUBLE OR NOTHING. Based on a vote, players can attempt to double their winnings, or lose it all. How? Why, via winners PvP of course! 😃 It's worth knowing ALL winners will take an EQUAL piece of the pot when the game ends. This can change Influence your winnings by as much as over 250k! Additional Notes: 1: You will not learn what Pokémon you are fighting until the end of the preparation phase. Upon your opponents being revealed, you will be given a chance to switch Pokémon in your party, should you have made extras. 2: Only 1 Double or Nothing Phase will happen. 3: Double or Nothing has an... additional twist 😉 4: Breeding using mons caught BEFORE the event , GTL, and trades are banned during preparation phase. I will ask that you link your mons in chat before the fight to ensure everyone is fighting fair, as well as the mons you're combining whenever you're in the breeding process (DMed to any staff is fine) 5: All the mons that can show up are in the guide already. Feel free to use it to get ideas, but know if the Pokémon doesn't have 4 moves already, I have full control over what they are. Begin Planning Accordingly 😉 Event 2: "The Quest to Find Success" Current Prize Pool: ¥3.5m This Event will happen the day after Event 1. This one is simpler. Sinnoh. It's Sinnoh. Go get ;er done! A scavenger hunt! 😄 Shadow, Morgz, Maxi and I will be at various locations in MMo. It's YOUR job to figure out where we are! And of course, when you find us, you won't get the hint for free. You have to battle for it 🙂 You may use any Pokémon. Shadow and Morgz have been told not to hold back. When I say any Pokémon, just know you can choose 5. These will be submitted the same way as the previous, with links. After a certain number of people make it and beat the current checkpoint, the checkpoint is LOCKED and everyone who didn't make it is out of the running. How many people that is will be determined based on participation in the event. ...What, you want a hint now? Fine. Mail Karu 100k (which every 100k will be added to the prize pot) and you can get most of the first hint early 😉 And yes, because this is a Karu event, there will be gimmicks during it >:) GL to all who prepare! P.S. You WILL need a certain regional dex completed to win this event! Perhaps there's a hint to which one somewhere already... 😉 Additional Donations/Donation Incentives: Players who donate 100k out of their own charity will still get the hint. A: Too simply put it, shiny wars are a group style event in which teams of 3 are decided upon and players are designated into one of those groups, the groups will hunt relentlessly throughout the course of the event in order too secure as many points as possible for the teams! (More info on points below) Q: How will the prize pool be distributed in order too ensure each player receives their fair share of the winnings? A: The prize pool will be split between the winning team, with the exception mentioned regarding the 3 highest scoring members of that team receiving a bonus Q: How long will the event run through?
