Many pokemon evolve too early for their own good. They're so [i]eager[/i] to be mature and independent that they don't even realize that they're losing the chance to experience certain moves. Your pokemon want to take on the responsibilities of a fully evolved pokemon too quickly, and you'll just have to tell them [b]no[/b]. Here is a guide to when your pokemon should evolve and why. This wont matter until it's implemented.[/indent] So now your pokemon has evolved and it is happy and healthy the way it should be. Maybe they will resent you a little bit for smothering them, but in the long run, you did the right thing, and your pokemon will be healthier because of you.

It would be handy to have a search function for the Pc boxes. One that lets you search by: -Type -LVL -Species Etc. I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement, and it's not exactly crucial, but it would be something nice to have :)

Another BG I whipped up in GIMP. Seeing as (right now) the game takes place in Kanto, and you play as Red and your Rival is still Blue, I figured it fitting to have a BG that reflected that, no? I got this wallpaper off of Wallpaper4me, and there was no mention of an author. Go figure. And obviously it takes zero skil lto make ones like this, but hey, everybody likes having options. My suggestion is that we use a slightly modified version of the Pokemon Emerald pickup table This is the table of items available from the pickup skill in Fire Red / Leaf Green. Also notice that all of the good items it offers (Hidden Power TM, Rare Candies, PP Up) are all available at any level. This means that anybody could catch 6 meowth and immediately farm rare candies, Hidden Power TMs, and PP Up. Notice that it is full of berries. Rare Candies, Hidden Power, and PP up are basically the only useful items on there, as there is already a berry salesman implemented in the game. THIS is the pickup table from pokemon Emerald. Major Differences: 1) No berries 2) Wider variety of items 3) The items received vary based on the level of your pokemon. The variation by level means that somebody has to put time and effort into raising their pokemon in order to get the full benefits of the ability. I mentioned at the top of the thread that it should be a slightly modified version of the Emerald pickup table. What would I like modified about it? Hidden Power. If you notice, Hidden Power TM is missing from the Pokemon Emerald pickup table. If anything, the White Herb should be replaced by Hidden Power. This keeps it semi-rare while still being accessible to mid-level trainers. Suggestion 3: The confirmation for removing an item from a pokemon should be removed. There are no negative consequences, and once pickup is implemented it will only serve to be a nuisance.

I'm sure many like myself are annoyed by looking for certain pokemons in the PC box, why not add an option to auto sort by either level/pokemon name/pokedex number, this will help us a lot, what do you guys think?

Great guide, but now that we have the move relearner you can learn sets of moves that you previously couldn't. For example, Staryu to Starmie: if you want to you can get Hydro Pump, Cosmic Power, etc. on Staryu, then evolve it into Starmie at lv47 and then use the move relearner to pick up Confuse Ray
