  1. Metronome trick doesn't work anymore tho
  2. They're rare. The encounter rates and locations of Pokemon are different in PokeMMO than the vanilla games, but both of those are described in your Pokedex. There is no daytime/nighttime cycle for Unova or Misdreavus, I can tell you that for sure c: Torchic?
  3. But what difference does it make when you can beat the entire Unova league with just a Butterfree and a Bibarel? (Speaking from experience) I can't think of any in-story limitations the current level cap system provides other than forcing you to think about your next move and what the Pokemon you're using are most useful for.
  4. Is that a real shiny Weepinbell?! Not a gloom with illusion??
  5. Just pick a minimum usage in LC and remove those at or above that usage % out of the untiered dex.
  6. No matter how hard you try, devs will say no. And I did explain why. And so have they, hundreds of times. It won't happen. If it's too "slow" for you then I guess it's not our fault you're 2fast2furious. But it won't happen. Cause there won't be options anymore, no one would play it at the slower speeds because who wants to grind at a disadvantage?
  7. Would you like me to make you a sprite mod that just turns off lanturn's lights? If not, the Gen 6 sprite mod is a cool one to have ^_^ Otherwise let me know!
  8. Pretty sure it's been fixed by now, I remember it not bugging out with baton pass recently. Would need TC or staff to confirm though, don't take my word for it
  9. Yeah turns out my RNG decided to give me my first grimer/muk horde after 53 koffing/weezing hordes when I went to check that. My bad, will fix. Thanks for pointing that out! Apologies for the levels in this guide still being missing, life's been insanely busy and I've barely had more than an hour or two every week to collect horde data. I got two seasons of unova fully done and hopefully will be done the other two regions soon™. Thanks for your patience friends ily <3
  10. @Bestfriends I don't actually see any substance behind the arguments you made. It's a quality of life suggestion that wouldn't change the shiny market or shiny hunting at all. You're telling me that shiny hunting isn't already a popular postgame activity and having a shiny OT indicator would suddenly make it way too popular? What? The market for common horde shinies is already oversaturated, and shiny hunters already hunt as many shinies as they want. Literally nothing would change except the dex looking better. Also, inflation has the opposite meaning to what you used it as in all your arguments. And i hope you don't find any of this offensive, I'm just trying to understand your long-winded series of points here that I don't actually see the substance nor sense in. And @Azsure this has been suggested in a post that gained some traction in its time, you should upvote it to show your support c: I'll upvote your suggestion ^_^ I see zero harm to any kind of player except our lord and mayor bestfriends but I'm sure his benevolent self can take a hit to his ego of the rest of the community loves the idea. As both a shiny hunter and a casual player, I'd love to see this implemented, if not for my sake, for Jonulo's
  11. Shiny hunting, farming, alt runs, alt farming. You realize how it'd go if there was a pointless option to speed these up right? Because everyone would have to he doing it at the faster speeds or not make the most out of these grinds. And @OP, this has been addressed by the devs and admin team multiple times with many solid arguments/reasons on their part (which is pretty rare) while all the player arguments I've seen for it weren't very deeply thought out and were easily refutable. If you have the time, look through archived/past suggestions, you'll see. It's not going to happen, it's been made explicitly clear. Not even a "we are not considering it at this time" but a "never gonna happen, sorry". Same reason for not being able to turn battle animations off. The speed takes a couple days to get used to if you're coming from emulating games (been there myself, I'm sure most of us have) but you get used to it and it's not like the games are super slow that you'd be sacrificing work, life and family time for it lmao. But yeah, tl;dr: "No" - literally the entire admin team every time something like this is suggested.
  12. It's because none of us are ever really happy, so it'd be blatantly lying about how we feel
  13. Can confirm EDIT: To add to this, I've actually been enjoying the current economy and consumable amulet coins. The hour or two I log in every few weeks makes me way more money than it used to before the change, and all the economic changes the devs made to battle inflation actually worked really well (not perfectly, but perfection on decisions like those is hard) in reverting a players purchasing power (cost of items vs rewards from grinds) to what it used to be. Overall, it's pretty good for both active and inactive players, new and old, unless you just want to use big words and fancy fonts on forums to complain :3
  14. Well yeah but that's irrelevant here, this game assumes you've had some exposure to Pokemon games before playing this
  15. It doesn't sound like a terrible idea for within dungeons, NGL. The only reason we were able to synchronize what was going on within our teams was because link chat was a thing, and before that we just used discord voice. But being able to see the locations of other party members within a dungeon would be useful sometimes c:
  16. That's the official stance on it, in case you're wondering. Xela's post on this thread is a good summary for why not. Same reason the game won't ever have the option of turning off battle animations.
  17. PvE is pretty easy if you understand the basic concepts of type effectiveness, what a move's power is, the fact that a move will do more damage if it's the same type as the user, and that there are certain pokemon better at certain things (physical attacks, special attacks, defense etc.) than others. That's what battling against this game's AI is meant to teach you. And that's all you need to know to make story a breeze. I do wish the vanilla games were better at explaining these mechanics (like in Let's Go, but that's geared towards babies so it makes sense), but stuff that makes a difference in PvP like EVs and IVs don't matter in story. You just need to know basic type effectiveness and what a Pokemon's most useful stats are, which the in-game Pokedex tells you. Oh and focus on having a wide coverage of moves but that's a requirement in vanilla games too. The AI here is meant to be a challenge so you learn how to play the game instead of brute force your way through it c:
  18. Being able to have in-battle hotkeys would be amazing, can be limited to just balls or include healing/boost items as well. Upvoted, like the last few times something like this was suggested. Would definitely be a huge improvement for the game.
  19. Ok but no appreciation for the dynamic music in gen 5? I'm a huge fan of the Unova OST, but Gen 4 if we're looking at just the soundtracks, still makes me feel things I don't understand
  20. Not relevant to the suggestion but you should always screenshot trade agreements, people don't usually scam but in case they do this game has pretty good anti-scam rules
  21. I wasted hella ultra balls on it in story, I've only had one alt where I managed to catch it within a few balls.
