You don't need to register. At the end of catch events, you have 10 minutes to submit your one entry Pokémon as a 'link' via the /whisper chat to a staff member directly. You can add a Pokémon link to your chat text by dragging the Pokémon from your team party, or by clicking 'Link' next to 'Send' in the chat window. I hope this clarifies. Have a nice day.

Hello. In my opinion, you should play the region that is the most fun and nostalgic to you, and then you can move on to other regions after completing that first region. You can load all your ROM files at once using the 'Client Management' option from the homescreen (login menu) - it doesn't have to be step by step as you can choose what region to start with on your new character. I want to join this party ^^ My first shiny (as a new player) was a random single encounter shiny Nincada in 2016 when I was going through Hoenn region, which was my favorite region as a child. I wasn't aware of how much shiny OT actually meant back then, so I unfortunately sold it to get money to breed competitive Pokémon. I regret that big time today. Not so long ago I was shown this picture of me casually hanging in Vermilion with my Shiny Ninjask:
