1. I'll read it, thanks for the link, looks very interesting.
2. I don't see why you're raging, what makes you think you're entitled to this? are you paying them to spend their spare time in order to work on this game? If not please stop acting like a little child and show some respect for f*cks sake
3. I think this is a great idea, I'd really like to see this change being made
4. excellent idea in my opinion.. but what exactly do you mean by "being able to breed", unlimited breeding or being consumed after making an egg?
5. I'm aware of that, but again, what alternative did they have when implementing these new features? just wipe everything? In my opinion this kind of progress comes with certain disadvantages that just can't be avoided or will have at least a negative inpact in one or the other way. I mean I have not a shred of a doubt that if there would've been a win-win situation with all these changes for everyone, the devs wouldnt've hesitated a second and chosen that option instead.
6. basically what I hear here from most people indirectly is "stop the progress, leave everything as it is" (and I'd like to remind you that it's a free to play game in alpha phase). What other alternative is there for the devs to give the game as a whole a positive future direction than drastically making changes to a system that resulted in loads of 6x31 comps in about a year time? I'm aware and it's justified that many people are pissed about the fact that progress achieved by players with the previous breeding system will give certain top players and advantage, but why can't you at least try to see the big picture instead of stubornly pitying yourself while cursing the developers that put so much heart and effort into this game? What alternative did they have? I think the decision they've made is a big step forward, but it's worth the risk, the evolution of a game should not be hindered by the needs and wishes of individuals and their temporary personal gain and satisfaction. and btw sorry if the point I'm trying to get across is a bit hard to understand, but I'm not a native english speaker
7. I'm talking long term here, the game as a whole, these changes had to come sooner or later, just continuing the way it was would've been much worse, even if it means that certain players that already possess godly comps are now well off with the pokes they've bred before the comming update Maybe the difference between people like you and me is that in my opinion pokemmo isn't just about PvP and winning against other players, I'm trying to see the big picture and I'm excited how the game evolves
8. I'm thrilled about the breeding changes, breeding pokes with perfect IV's and what not kind of ruined the game for me anyway, this balances the whole game perfectly and makes it so much more fun and worth playing
9. so much fuck*ng crying going on in this whole thread, I don't get why some people get so emotionally involved with the whole thing and go on senseless rants. Constructive instead of destructive feedback and a little bit more appreciation for all the work the devs are putting into this whole game wouldn't be too much to ask i.m.o.
10. IMPORTANT sadly, the GUI wont work properly anymore with the new update, certain graphis will not be visible, if for instance an items is to be removed from a pokemon, there will be no visual notification, but by pressing "a" (confirm), it will work anyway. The biggest issue is that the IV tab button has been altered in the update and will not be shown anymore with this GUI. I will try to update the GUI to work with the new update, but it might take some time, until that, I suggest you not to use the GUI, unless you don't care about being able to view the IV and certain graphical popup information, even though just pressing "a" when that notification is supposed to pop up will work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the credit for creating the GUI Theme goes to DecideB4Morning, this GUI is completely based off his Black & White theme which can be found here. All I did was simplifying it to make it more slick and easier on the eyes, and I've also changed some hovering colors etc. to a darkish red. again, it took me about an hour or so to do this, which is nothing compared to creating the GUI Theme on which this is completely based off in the first place, all I did was edit some graphics and changing some colors, all the credit goes to DecideB4Morning for creating this awesome GUI Theme. click here to watch a short video on how the GUI looks click here to download the GUI INSTALLATION 1. unzip the file 2. put the extracted folder ("black and white edit") into the folder "...\PokeMMO-Client\data\themes" 3. select the theme in game under Menu --> Settings --> Theme 4. done! PREVIEW edited

original

changelog edit 09.08.14 ------------------ - made some minor graphical improvements (f.i. changed green check signs to red, removed black-to-gray transition on certain buttons), corrected errors in xml that stem from original version where button overlays are not matching, preview graphics and video are now outdated, downloadable file has been updated) ------------------ edit 13.08.14 ------------------ - replaced the standard checksign which is for instance used under Menu --> Settings to fit the theme
