  1. I was discussing something on call with some friends. A problem we've seen a lot was begginers trolling. Using teams having like, Zard and Gyarados on a Zebstrika Raid. Can we have something that blocks people from playing raids unless certain requirments get met?
  2. No problem, and i retested here just to make sure. Happened what i've described when moving mons into the account box, but not out of them. No matter using my method to multi-select or the button that does so.
  3. The real problem is some people consider. Ik a guy with basically 3 accounts and 7 characters, he breed 1 team to farm gym in each one of them. And don't ask how he has time to play 7 accounts, I don't know and that's not my problem. Now, he has like, 4 teams to sell basically because he needs just 3.
  4. I can without tap, just holding on a free space and moving the finger, select all mons i want. But yea, when moving to account box, one moves and the rest is "scrambled" between their positions. Also, is intentional that when a mon moves to account box, it gets unregistered for battle boxes?
  5. Mail costs money. Assuming a 5 mon team, you'll spend $1600 mailing. on 50 farming days you already spended $80000 with transfering. That is using 1 account. Using 2 is $160000 after 50 farms. Long-term before, it would be better to have a fresh new team in a alt over mailing it. And that's considering the re-scale on the mails. Before was 1 mon at time, $5000 to transfer everything. taking the 50-day scale, you spend $250000 with transfer to an alt. $500000 with two characters.
  6. It created. Before people would have like, 2-3 characters with Gym teams to farm. Each one having their own team. Now you don't need this. If you have one, you can use it on all characters. Who didn't had a team will now buy just one. Who had extra teams will sell the extra ones and keep one in the account box. The demand decreased a bit and the offer did a decent rise.
  7. Some time ago, during 10th Anniversary, a NPC was implemented, the Baron Moray. You trade with him Shinys for Prismatic Pearls. It was a great addition, but i think it could be better. We can receive equivalents to other type of mons. - For Regular mons and Alphas: We pick someone at the region's cassino, and he will give you tokens based on the mon you bring onto it. A regular one gives you a certain amount of tokens based on level, IVs 31... Alphas give more than regular. This NPC won't accept Kanto Alpha Starters or Legendarys. Those tokens you can use onto a machine ressembling a Jackpot Machine, that for 1 token will give randomly a Candy. Vary from XS EXP Candys from Rare Candys. - For Legendary Beasts: Researchers on the Professor's house will ask for you for legendarys. If you give them, you'll receive some of the items required to change their IVs. Elemental Orbs for any Kanto bird, and Rainbow Quills for Johto dogs. The idea is to create a sink to drop mons and reduce inflation that rised greatly with Account box. Now, you don't need multiple Gym teams and E4 teams, this make less demand on them and increased the offer since there is more of those teams in GTL, who has multiple of them now are selling the extra ones. with this, you drop them on the NPCs and make it not end on GTL and reducing the offer.
  8. You're unconsidering something important: Context. Smogon yea, you get forced to run something to counter X/Y mon is not common so when it happens, obviously people will ban those mons. Also, votes there are done by the Community, not only TC. If there was such community vote there, Dugtrio would be banned long ago since most part of community hates it, and if you go through unofficial events, a good part already banned trapping abilitys. Also, in MMO your team haviing absolutely nothing to counter some mon or at best 1 answer is pretty common. We can't fit 3 answers to dugtrio because we had over 20+ mons to cover first. If we does, you can be 100% sure was not intentional. Same applies to volca and pretty much a great chunk of mons. And isn't you had to go with all mons Gb listed, neither they will just counter dugtrio + volca. Go with one, maybe two of their list. Some does clearly more. Chansey is a good example: Not only Chansey deals with almost every volca variant, only a few gimmick ones doesn't, it basically shuts down every special attacker not named Serperior(Serperior can spam Leaf Storm and will eventually broke through. If AV, can run giga drain so doesn't exit that fight low on HP.).
  9. That came from years and a lot of tournaments there bans trapping abilitys. Grand Slam and iirc OUVitational banned them already? Anyways, is not the first time when a mon is clearly broken and the TC just doesn't want to ban them. Crawdaunt is the same thing, broken as f*** in UU(Only Poliwrath and Toxicroak switchs in all moves, most rely on predicts to not die on switch-in.) , and with Weather it just maked it worse, both Sun and Rain benefits from Crawdaunt. And yes, Sun benefits, not from using it but from having it on meta, since using their counters on your team forces a 5v6 vs Sun. Rain is self-explanatory, Crabhammers now hit a whole new level of power.
  10. And pass from "Reliable answer to Volcarona" to "Volcarona Check, that has to be careful about bug buzzes on Switch-in."
  11. The guys there are discussing serperior, i just used it as a example because bringing arguments even consistents(talking about pachima's ones) won't work, so i'm using things that happened to exemplify why your "God-like Arguments" are flawed. And before talking about my methods, look at your ones. I mentioned about the 1,4x and 1,5x Sharpness not having dmg difference and was not broken. You said that had yes a difference. I asked several times: "Prove then." You ignored them all. Vadim had to provide calcs. And it happened a difference in just 2 mons. 2 mons checking you additionally is not enough to make something not broken, because you pass from: Having nothing to check to a situation where you're forced to have X/Y mon to check.
  12. I was talking that the tools we had, considering only commonly used ones. The ones we had back when it was released and the ones we had today changed only a bit. Chandelure(Even w/o Infiltrator can still check it, infiltrator maked it better), Volcarona, Weezing, Weavile.... Nowadays on commonly used we had Multiscale Nite, and Mamoswine too. I'm not even considering Zapdos or Amongus Regen because people already accepted Serperior in the meta prior to their releases. People just refused to adapt back then, and the same was done either to Gallade or some of their Nerfed variants. People doesn't want to adapt to them.(And for the nerfed variants, it was also devs's fault to not give us enough time to adapt too). I mentioned serperior since it was a fresh example of how people doesn't want to adapt to a mon. They would've banned serperior if the 3rd Anniversary Update didn't introduced 60+ HAs and forced people to let serperior for more time to see if any new toy could handle it.
  13. This is a frequent case on OU and still an issue we had to adress yet. People claim things were broken but didn't give time to adapt. For the enragment of Doctor, i'm using again an old thing that happened, to give an example to my argument: - Serperior was claimed to be broken back in July 2022, but the cores back in the time was super weak to grass because we didn't have good grass offensive ones back in the day. We had Breloom but before technician it was struggling to be on OU. Almost fall after october but ended up saved by their HA. Remaining offensive grass-types pre-ha were genuinely bad, and that make most mons didn't care to have that weakness. Why i'm talking about that discussion? Because apart from Nite Multiscale and Chandelure Infiltrator, nothing changed about serperior or who are their counters when it was claimed to be broken(July-October 2022) and when it wasn't anymore(October-Early December 2022), the counters we had back in that time and the counters we had today +2, were the same we had on those days. 4 mons is not enough to change a mon from broken to acceptable, neither 2 are, yet Serperior escaped the ban.
  14. See @Doctor ? That's the type of argument i'd like to read from you before. You just claimed Gallade is broken because of the ban done months ago, when the mon was even like described by Pachima, a "case of New Toy Syndrome". Didn't provide calcs or anything important. VadimEmpoleon provided. Also, @VadimEmpoleon you said as one of your arguments that Gallade on 1,3x Sharpness or 1,4x Sharpness could be broken but people doesn't want to complain. Well, if a thing is broken then people will complain until that's no longer the case. If there is a nerf and it doesn't work, people would still complain. An example of it happening, was the KR Ban. They "nerfed" it forcing the Hax item to be revealed once their holder steps on the field. The nerf didn't do anything. Helped the 1% that uses the answers for KR Cloyster and Weavile, but that's it. After this nerf there was a wave of complains, and They had to nerf it again effectively killing the strat for the good of the meta.
  15. Actually, it already hit hard. I yesterday was battling, faced gallade in 2 of 8 matches. One was an agility set, tried to hard switch and setup into a Nite(Multiscale broken) and loses. I could give 2 hits with E-speed and kill with scizor, but i needed just e-speeds with a Crit help. (And i didn't used DD because since multiscale was broken i couldn't setup without risking of get killed and i wouldn't risk another mon, so i'd trade my nite for enough dmg to kill Gallade easily later, than get killed for nothing.) Other was a traditional Scarf set: He used leaf blade vs my Suicune(I had a subs so i stayed and tried to fish a scald burn, didn't ;-; ) and he has just enough speed to outspeed a Adamant 80s. Suspected about scarf so switched away into a mon able to resist and in fact it was. I take the locking opportunity all the times and forced him to sac something to keep gallade alive, until he couldn't. Won on that way. Based on my experience, i didn't face too much problems vs a Gallade. Conkeldurr gives me more headache than Gallade.
  16. There is where your argument flaws. If we've tested just 1,3x Sharpness and 1,5x Sharpness there would be valid. An argument could be done about rolls difference because 15% is a large chunk of difference. But we've tested 1,4x Sharpness. No one claimed it to be broken, if there was complains, were just about 1,4x Sharpness not being a good precedent and nothing else. 1,4x Sharpness Rolls has almost no difference with 1,5x Sharpness rolls, 6,7% is not a big difference to an argument be done in the first place . And i reiterate my previous argument: Gallade is a Wallbreak, you won't win walling it, you win outoffensing it. People can compare it with another recently banned wallbreaker, aka Draco Hydrei, arguing both can melt anything on their path, but before they does that, i've my own arguments to counter them. There is difference beetween both, - One has Great bulk, are virtually untrappable, and their type and ability helps taking hits, alongside that 98 speed allows to outspeed a great portion of meta even without a scarf, allowing an resist berry like Haban, or choice specs, to be an item option. - The other has a type that even being great offensively, is bad defensively, has a very weak bulk on one side and average on other, with the bulk in general being comparable with Flareon's one. On top of that: Gallade is easily trappable, and 80 speed is mid in OU: Either you use scarf and after a attack give free turns to opponent, which is dangerous on a Heavily offense metagaming, or you use other item and basically you only outspeed walls, and almost all offensive mons outspeed and can kill you depending of the attacks they have.
  17. People treat gallade like you should wall it to win. That's not the case. Gallade is a wallbreak, it's meant to break every wall that would be trying to hold you. To win vs it you has to outoffense it and with the poor physical bulk and Psychic/Fighting not providing that many resistances and 0 immunitys(It's a great offensive type but not defensively, one basically cancels the resistances of the other. ) , it's not that hard to actuallt Break it. 80s is not a great speed tier, it's mid, so either you use Scarf which give free turns to opponents, which is deadly when the meta is revolved around Offense, or you won't outspeed a lot. My team for reference, the only thing slower than Gallade without Scarf, is Scizor. And he has prioritys anyways. Basically Gallade cannot enter on my team, everything outspeed it. Not even on the Special Attackers he can, because The special attackers have huge threats to gallade like Serperior that is game over if snowballs, Zapdos has discharge which can para it, and Suicune has a Scald to burn it. So even having a good special bulk is not helping it.
  18. The 1,3x nerf coming was expected because it was stated on policy. About the reverse nerfing, you were asking to wrong persons, asking to devs to undo it. They wouldn't. You has to ask to TC to take actions on things if they're too much for the meta. And they even stated on announcement: The goal of the nerf policy is to nerf as little as possible to make the mon acceptable. And if they were to nerf without care to that, they would straight forward remove sharpness and send it back to NU.
  19. I have some doubts about the update in general, that aren't very clear. - The changelog introduced an Account PC box. But i noticed that mons gets unregistered from battle boxes if they gets there, coming back only after being back to a regular box. This is intentional? - They added shortcuts to gyms in Johto, Sinnoh and Unova. But why not in Kanto/Hoenn? I mean, most gyms in those regions has little to no puzzles but some had and they're very annoying, like Lavaridge, Sootopolis and mainly Mossdeep. - They telled that basic clothing could be founded in markets, but what markets do we find them, which clothes can we found and what's the price? I've gone to the Veilstone's mega mart and found absolutely nothing nex, except the Makeover Girl.
  20. if there is no topic for people to complain about 1,3x Gallade or 1,4x Gallade they could do the regular procedure and ask for a lookup on the OU Tier Discussion Thread.
  21. And i'm still waiting for @Doctor to show the rolls where Gallade will get a KO on 1,5x Sharpness that it wouldn't on 1,4x Sharpness. He sayed that 6,7% rolls make difference and i want to see the difference. Just a reminder, absolutely 0 people claimed 1,3x Sharpness Gallade or 1,4x Sharpness Gallade was broken.
  22. 29th Febuary is when the vote happens. I will let a final argument there before the vote in hopes of it being changed. Mainly will focus on telling why some arguments against the ban are wrong/flawed, and reiterate some of my past points. 1. People not telling that dugtrio is uncompetitive / telling that are on an acceptable degree of uncompetitiveness. This i've seen a little there. And i have to tell something: The conditions to met an acceptable degree of being uncompetitive is very high. Mostly i like to use the Abusing ways as a limiter. If you can abuse without heavily depend of opponent's actions and are uncompetitive, then it's bannable. Giving examples: - Magnet Pull is not bannable because you heavily depend of your opponent gets a KO with an steel type or stay with it on the field for too long. But teams bring often one or two steel types(You can't trap all the team) and can play around magnezone easily by pivoting , predicting and using Whrilwind/Roar for skarmory and empoleon, when he is switching on you , or using quake in case of Excadrill. Also, there is scenarios on your steel type won't get a KO or if gets, it will be done it's job and can die peacefully, or the KO of it it's actually benefical for you(You can after Magnezone gets a KO with HP Fire enter with nite and use DD for Free since Magnezone is prob locked.) - Serperior with Contrary, boosting evasion with defog, not bannable too, because to abuse you depend on your opponent mindlessy using defog on you, which 2 braincells prevent that easily. Only 550 Elo does that, and your hazard removal having Rapid Spin and not defog, throws this strat on the window. - However arena trap is far different. Your Flying-types and Levitates won't get all KOs on a match , eventually you has to go into grounded mons to get some KO and they may end trapped, either they does a slow pivot or sacrifice themselves to dug enter and trap the opposing mon. Also, at best you had 2 mons immune to trapping, and may had one or no mon, meaning you can have your entire team trapped depending on your team 2. Restricting Teambuild not being a problem People tells that there is no problem bring counters to dugtrio and adapt your teambuild. That if was before 2021 could be a possibillity, but currently is not. This i bringed on the post, and was commented before by @ArtOfKilling - "There is over 20 threats on OU right now and you can't build a solid 3 x 3 team that covers all of that". You has to be selective and choose which mons you can and can't cover, and you will obviously choose to cover the top used mons, being a bonus countering a lower one. Is 100% normal and that make Dugtrio very powerful, teams having absolutely nothing to cover dugtrio or at best one mon ready for him, without the intent for that mon to counter dug in the first place. And that's because of Dug's low usage. Mons with low usage, that has a decent niche on OU, ends up being very powerful due to that. 3. Precedents People forgot often about previous bans that can act later as precedents. Dugtrio is being asked to stay due to low usage, despite being uncompetitive. But, some years ago, they banned King's Rock and gets it nerfed. Why i'm talking about that ban in specific? Because KR was banned due to it being Uncompetitive, despite their low use. So, it's not fair to dugtrio not get banned if he gets the exact same precedents than an thing that was banned, uncompetitiveness despite low use. My opinion remains the same: Ban Dugtrio. There is nothing left to discuss.
  23. This thread became a s***show at this point. I'd ask for a vote, but with LNY event in-progress is unlikely TC wants to do anything now. Can we know after the event(when a answer is likely to come) which side TC is more likely to vote(in favor of a ban or against it)?
  24. I'm also unable to play but in my case was because my internet is f***** so i can play again when it decided to work again. My cellphone has no problem installing the game even being a J1 6(Old as F***)
