I understand that when you equip an air balloon on a pokemon and it gets popped in battle, it’s gone for the rest of the battle. However, does it come back to you after the battle is finished or is it gone forever?

I just bought an ability pill off of the GTL for 30k, just for it to not work on my gengar. I wanted for my gengar to have levitate because he currently has cursed body, can anybody help?

This guide is obscure on how to get some items. In Kanto, for the protector, do you get it from rhyhorns having it on them when you capture them? Do the captured rhyhorns have to be in the safari zone? Or do you get it by killing them? Same with the charcoal, do you get it from capturing vulpixes and them having the charcoal on them or do you have to kill them and its a random drop?

how do you get the protector and charcoal in kanto? ive heard you get the protector from catching rhyhorns in the safari zone but 40 rhyhorns later and i havent gotten one... do you have to kill rhyhorns or capture them to get a protector? same for the charcoal, do you kill vulpix’s or capture them?
