We're all trying to think up fixes to the GC system, right? Here's my fix. You should be able to turn pokemon into a new NPC at the GC desk. Upon talking to him, he will say, "What pokemon do you want to redeem for coins?". You will then be able to select pokemon from your party to turn in for coins. You can only turn in pokemon that are purchasable at the GC with coins. Payouts would range from 15-100 coins, depending on the cost of the pokemon in the GC. (Abra could be 15 coins, while a porygon would be 100 coins) Redemption would also ignore the 1000 coin purchase limit. The Redemption system still requires grinding to get coins. Here's another gift shop item I thought up. (Actually I stole the idea from another MMO). It's a sticky chat bubble. What that means, is that you could click on it in your bag and it asks, "What message would you like to enter?" The message you enter is NOT sent to any chat feeds. However, it stays over your head until you deactivate it. It should also have a partial transparency, so the background is not blocked too much.(Or you could have it deactivate after 1 hour and need to be reactivated). In viridian, you could have it say, "50 4v4 sleep clause" You could have it say,"Selling shiny paras for lucky egg!", or "Buying good zubat", while you farm next to people in the altering cave. Tournament hosts could have it say, "Whisper me to sign in", or "Stay off the brown tiles". This idea has tons of possible uses and is In no way a pay2win item. Who's in?

Yeah, but these are suggestions to get us to that point.

I think all the one time items should be purchasable at the GC(Even if for 9999). Support.
