It is still a reward for a game mechanic. EVs were implemented to let the multiplayer battles be more competitive. Doesn't matter if a NPC gives you a ribbon as it isn't related to any of the story at all. Just by leveling a pokemon to 100, you'll still get the EVs at max. It is as "lore" wise the same as Gold/Ethan beating Red on Mount Silver in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. Even though that never happened cannon wise. It was just extra content.

So something like the Underground from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum with "flags"

The only legendaries that we can catch are Mewtwo and Rayquaza, every other legendary is unobtainable in PokeMMO atm.

Hidden Abilities didn't exist in Gen 3, only Gen V and onward I believe.

I'm pretty sure they won't give free braces as that is a "money" sink. But other held items wouldn't be too bad.

Which the devs have something in mind when it comes to the legendary birds/golems.

500k is a lot of money to let people have from something you can do daily and why would they give players free RP daily? You have to think about why kind of impact the reward will have on the economy.

Actually by completing the hoenn pokedex you're given one of the johto starters. Which is a reward.

Which the effort ribbon can be obtained without actually EV training. So yes it's just a mechanic where the ribbon is a mere reward. It isn't part of the pokemon story line.

It still isn't lore. "The collective history and the sum of all knowledge available about a certain fantasy or sci-fi universe." EV training or EVs isn't part of the story line. Period. It is a mechanic in the game, nothing more.

500k and RP seems excessive as a reward. I'd be ok with 50k and no RP. But that is just me.

So as the title says, what is your biggest blunder you have done in PokeMMO? I'll start, I was browsing GTL the other day looking for something with 31 ivs that can breed with my Squirtle, so I saw a Horsea with IVs where I wanted them. Sadly me forgetting to look at the gender, it was male while my squirtle was male. Only paid 40k for it, but still hurt my wallet where I couldn't fix it if I wanted to. But I guess I have a breeder for when I get further down the line of breeding so there is that.
