What are your thoughts on these 'raffles'?

Well, they can be fun if bored but, definition of a pyramid scheme like Mary Kay + Poke’Mon. I say simply don’t buy a ticket then. I’ve been thinking of trying a raffle, but I know the time & effort to sell tickets doesn’t match the enormous profit some of these raffles create. Edit: as a new player with about 140 hours, (I think that’s considered new) I have asked myself why doesn’t everyone do this? First raffle I saw I did the math and was pretty baffled.
